Does Estee Lauder Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum Really Work?

Recently I turned 28 years old, and although I hated the number 27, something about 28 really stuck out as old. I can recall being a kid and thinking 30 was ancient, and with that number being only 2 years away, I wanted to go into full commando mode when it came to my skin care. I've always been a freak when it comes to my face, and although I have been blessed with excellent genes, I notice that around my eyes I have a few small fine lines that I have watched, over the years get bigger, and deeper.

Let's not even mention the line on my forehead which I'm ready to peel off!

When my best friend asked what I wanted for my birthday, I told her the skin of a 16 year old- minus the acne.

Although she didn't go peeling anyone's skin off, she promised me that Estee Lauder, Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum would work at fading away those lines. Basically what it does is increases collagen in your skin after 2 hours, and the wrinkles will be reduced by up to 36%.

It sounded all fantastic in theory, but I've used collagen products before and have never been impressed with them.

After she told me that this small purple glass bottle of magic was nearly $100, I was praying it worked, not only for my sake, but for the fact that she was nice enough to spend a nice chunk of her weekly check on my skin care.

Well, it has been over a month since I began using the wrinkle lifting serum, and I wanted to share my results with those of you whom are considering taking the plunge and buying this one.

First and foremost, it goes on the skin like silk, so you only need about a dab or 2 of the serum to cover your entire face. I used 3 dabs, one dab that I spread across one side of my face, and another dab for the other side. The last dab I put on my neck. I notice I have a fine crease on my neck, which I hate, so I figured maybe this stuff would puff out the wrinkle, and keep it away.

I have to say that after 2 hours of applying it, I did not see any 36% decrease in my wrinkle on my forehead, nor was there a difference near my eyes. I felt sad, jipped, and depressed knowing that there was nothing to slow down this aging process.

However, after 2 weeks of using the serum daily, I noticed that my fine lines looked even finer, and the wrinkle on my forehead had also decreased in size and depth.

A month later, and I have to say I will continue to buy this one. The wrinkles and fine lines are very reduced, probably by half. They are still present of course, but they do not show up unless I scrunch my face and make them obvious.

I'm in love, and I highly suggest this one to anyone looking to nip a stubborn wrinkle, or fine line.

How Did I Use It In Order To Make It Work?

I simple followed the directions. I rinse my face off every morning with a light micro-abrasive wash; any will do, something with micro beads in it to give your face a soft scrubbing.

After that I would dry my face and apply the Estee Lauder Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum, followed by a moisturizer. You can use any moisturizer, but Estee Lauder makes some nice ones. I had been using Olay while using the serum though, in case you are wondering.

After applying my moisturizer, I simply put on my makeup as I usually do. That was it, nothing more.
