My 28th birthday is less than two weeks away, and with the big 30 right
around the corner, I have taken my skin care regime up a notch. I have
over time been noticing small creases in my eye area, and a thin line at
the top of my forehead, that I know will just get worse and worse, as I
get older.
Instead of running out for botox, or an injection filler, I decided to
try other low cost solutions first. My friend told me that collagen
pens work really well, so I decided to seek out my very first collagen
pen. I ended up coming home with an $18.00 solution from L'Oreal, called
a Wrinkle De-Crease Collagen Filler.
For the money I spent I hoped it would work. The box itself promised
that I would see instant smoothing results, and that over time the
results would actually improve the creases, and wrinkles.
The convenient packaging made it easy for me to target the wrinkles,
and creases. The tube the collagen filler comes in is a thin tube, with a
really thin application head. You squeeze the tube, and release the
formula directly onto the crease. Once it is on, you then just pat the
lotion into the skin. Don't rub it around, pat it in.
The formula is then supposed to expand the skin (or plump it) up to 10X's in order to smooth out the wrinkles.
I applied it as directed, targeting on my eye area, and on the line on
my forehead. I did not notice any immediate results, so I was
immediately disappointed. Over the course of about 10 minutes though,
looking back in the mirror, my skin in the target areas did look a
little bit smoother. The results were not miraculous, but they were
obvious; at least to me.
Now the unfortunate thing however, was that the lines did slowly
meander back to their normal size by the end of the day, so I began
applying day and night, and the skin does in fact look smoother.
I wondered though, if I stopped using it, if the lines would quickly go back to their former state.
I have been using L'Oreal Wrinkle De-Crease Collagen Filler for about 3
weeks now, and I have to say that I really like the stuff. I have
noticed that the lines look much smoother than when I began using the
filler, and my skin looks younger, healthier and slightly tighter.
Overall:
Most people go out and spend hundreds of dollars every month for
botox, which gives them fake looking plastic results. I really like this
filler because it is low priced, will last awhile, and it actually
works.
Would I recommend it? You bet!
