Hair Dye Disaster? Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme- 60 Light Natural Brown, to the Rescue

A month ago I tried to finally finish up coloring my hair from black to blonde. I failed miserably, and ended up with the most disgusting calico cat colored hair I had ever seen. I had patched of red, flame orange, black was still present, and streaks of blonde managed to shine through. I knew though, that there was no way I was leaving my hair all multicolored.

Due to the hair being dry and semi brittle, I knew I had to use something that promised not to destroy it. My plan was to go over this horrid color with a light brown, in an attempt to tone out the freaky tones, and ugly coloring. In the end, I chose Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme- 60 Light Natural Brown. I prayed that this color would be dark enough to tone out the reds, yet light enough to keep the nice streaks of blonde I had managed to achieve. All while attempting to not destroy my hair as a final result of the numerous dye jobs.

The first issue I had with Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme- 60 Light Natural Brown, was what came in the kit, which was not much. I have very thick hair, and I feel not only Garnier, but every hair coloring company out there needs to add more formula to their bottles.
This was only capable of covering the out layer of my hair, which was primarily where I needed it most.

It got the job done for the most part, but yes, I definitely could have used more dye in that bottle the provided.

My Use:

I couldn't let the formula sit in my hair for too long, because it was already showing signs of stress. I let it sit instead for about 7 minutes and then rinsed.

Overall:

Had it not been for Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme- 60 Light Natural Brown, my hair would still look like hell. This formula was not very harsh on the hair, and it definitely blended the colors better, while keeping the light streaks I already had, light still. The result was a honey brown, with blonde streaks.

I love the color, and love how it didn't leave my hair patchy, overly abused.
If you are looking for a nice new tone, but do not want to lose your natural highlights, then definitely give this color a try.
