Review of Baby Phat, Fabulosity, Perfume for Women

I never really paid much mind to Baby Phat; I've found that everything I have come across by them, whether it be clothing, jewelery or fragrances, things are just over done with too many garnishes, such as crystals, fake gems, and so forth. Granted I love glam, just not too much of it. I'm not attending a ball everyday of my life.

At any rate, I was given a bottle of Baby Phat Fabulosity, which is a fragrance in the Baby Phat line of fragrances. Seeing that the perfume was free, there was no way I was not going to try it.

I liked the cute purple package it came in. It was a nice shiny square box, containing a pretty bottle of perfume. The perfume bottle is shaped like a diamond, which I recall seeing before, perhaps in a different fragrance in the collection. At any rate, I liked the bottle, and hoped the perfume did not scream as loudly as Baby Phat clothing does.

The Scent:

Initially Fabulosity does scream, with a very childish candy fragrance that smelled like grape sweet tarts or Smarties candies. Personally it was interesting to me, but a little too juvenile for my liking.
As the powdered sugary candy scent faded, I was able to detect a strong note of vanilla and flowers.

The scent overall was interesting, childish and fun, but not one I would want to wear at my age. This one is possibly one a 5-14 year old would like more than a young adult, or adult woman.

All in all it was not a scent I could say I hated, but it also was not one I loved either.

The Last:

For those who are into such scents though, you'll be disappointed to know that the fragrance only lasts for around an hour before it's no longer detectable.

So it's short lived, which makes it a loser in my book.

Overall:

I'd suggest skipping out on it. Due to the fact that the scent is so short lived, it's just not worth your money.
