Review of Biotherm Aquasource Non Stop Moisturizer

When I was given a packet of Biotherm Aquasource Thermal Gel Intense Moisturization for Normal/Combination Skin, I didn't really know what to expect. I already had a full skin care regime that I love, so trying this newbie product really had me hesitation on whether or not I should use it. My skin is prone to breakouts whenever I introduce something new to it, and I had never heard of this stuff before.

After looking it up online, and realizing it was a relatively expensive product, and had good reviews, I figured I would go ahead and try it.

Biotherm Aquasource is designed to improve the texture of the skin, while leaving it hydrated, soft, and supple all day long. It sounded like the same run of the mill promise that most moisturizers have on their packages, but seeing that it was so high priced, I figured it may work better than those low end moisturizers.

The very first thing I noted about the moisturizer is that it has a texture found in most day serums for skin. I love day serums, love how they absorb into the skin, and love how they keep the skin moist (not greasy) all day long. I had a good feeling about this Biotherm Aquasource due to the fact that the gels consistency matched a favorite day serums of mine; Estee Lauder's Idealist.

The scent is equally as pleasurable as the texture. It has a lovely spa like quality to it, that is both refreshing, and uplifting. After applying this to my skins surface I felt like my face had just been pampered at a spa.

The gel leaves behind a cooling and refreshing feeling on the skin that goes away as it absorbs into the skin. My skin was instantly hydrated, and continued to feel moisturized and hydrated throughout the day. The scent naturally vanished, but left behind was a lovely feeling on my skin. It was soft, but velvety, moisturized, but not shiny or greasy feeling.

It took me approximately 10 seconds to fall in love with this stuff, and I think if you were to try it, you'd feel the same way.

I have in turn replaced my Idealist with Biotherm Aquasource due to the fact that it is priced a bit more fairly, and it works pretty much the same exact way.

Overall:

If you are a fan of Estee Lauder Idealist, then you will love Biotherm Aquasource. It will give you the same comfortable feeling, and beautiful effect. I apply it daily before applying my makeup, and I will continue to do so.

Over time you will notice a visual improvement in the skins appearance.
This one gets 5 stars out of 5 from me. I went into it hesitant, and came out a fan.
