I have been a dedicated fan of Jennifer Lopez's Glow collection since
the very first Jlo Glow fragrance hit the shelves nearly a decade ago.
Since then, she has released new fragrances in the collection that have
won me over each and every time.
When I heard about Blue Glow, I was more than thrilled. I went
searching feverishly for the perfume, and came up blank. Thankfully, I
was given a gift set of Blue Glow for my past birthday. In the set I not
only got the perfume, but I also got a nice large tube of Blue Glow Body Lotion, which of course is the focus of this review here today.
Blue Glow will intrigue you immediately, with its tropical cool water
like vibe that the tube has to it. The package that the lotion comes in
gives off the impression that this body lotion may contain micro flecks
of glitter. However thankfully there is no glitter included. Instead
your body is layered with a semi shimmer, but the shimmer does not last
long. That can be either a good or bad thing, it just depends on what
you like.
The Scent:
Blue Glow Body Lotion has a lovely scent to it, it's as if Jlo went
and added a pinch of the original Glow formula, with a dash of Miami
Glow, and a very tiny squeeze of cool waters. Combined what you have is a
magnificent fresh watery scent, with a nice soft musky layer.
It smells identical to the perfume, and when worn together, the fragrance will last all the more.
Speaking of last, Blue Glow Body Lotion packs a long fragrant last
that you can enjoy throughout the day. The body lotion itself has a
thicker consistency which makes it more of a body cream than a lotion,
but I'm OK with that, because this body lotion actually adds a bit of
warm welcomed moisture, which not many celebrity body lotions are
capable of doing.
Overall:
Blue Glow Body Lotion is a winner in my agenda. It moisturizes, leaves
behind a beautiful summery scent, and is definitely worth buying
outside of a gift set.
