Review of Chaleur D'Animale Eau De Perfume by Animale for Women

What makes Marshall's one of my favorite spots to pick up perfume is the fact that they carry desirable designer fragrances, and fragrances that most don't even know exist. The one thing they all have in common though, is the low, low prices of both well known, and little known fragrances.

I picked up a bottle of Chaleur D'Animale Eau De Perfume by Animale, recently for only $10.00. The bottle itself was shrink wrapped, and inside of a round cardboard package. I bought it without knowing how it would smell, or if it would even be any good. I like the mystery though, and for $10.00, if it was horrid, I'd just wrap it up and give it to someone for Christmas.

The round package the bottle comes in has a neat little animal print on its outside, it resembles the fur of a leopard. When I opened the package to reveal the mystery bottle, I was a little surprised at how much the bottle seemed to clash with the packaging.

It looked like a manly bottle, with a bland cylinder shape to it, and an odd chain added to the very bottom of the bottle. I didn't like it, granted it was unique, it just seemed awkward, and is a bottle I wouldn't save once the perfume itself were gone.

The Scent:

Chaleur D'Animale Eau De Perfume by Animale at first has a very strong high potent bug spray fragrance to it, which made it seem initially very manly. It is described as a many scent, and that is definitely true.

As the first bug spray fragrance began to fizzle away, I was left with a spicy scent that reminded me of amber and honey. It's nice, but you have to wait for the scent to dry on your skin for a bit, before those fragrances become noticeable.

All in all though, the scent is not a bad one at all. It's a bit more masculine than I would have liked, but it was decent. One I would wear on occasion.

The Last:

Chaleur D'Animale Eau De Perfume, does pack a long lasting kick. It stuck with me for hours and hours, and as time went on the stronger scents died down into a more pleasant spiced fragrance that was subtle, yet noticeable enough.

Overall:

I like it. For $10.00, Chaleur D'Animale Eau De Perfume is not a bad buy at all. It's a bit masculine, but also feminine enough to recommend to women. Some men may even like this one more than the cologne.
