Review of L De Lolita Lempicka, Perfume for Women

Recently I bought myself a gift set of L de Lolita Lempicka. The set came with a bottle of the perfume, the matching scented lotion, and the matching scented body wash. I found the set for sale for $25.00 at my local Marshall's, and initially I was going to leave it behind on the shelf, however after testing the perfume while waiting on line, the scent began to grow on me more and more. Not only that, but the beachy scene vibe that the perfume bottle had going on was adorable.

The bottle itself is shaped like a heart, but the blue tint gives it a really neat lagoon feel. On top of the bottle, where the nozzle is, there is gold netting attached to the bottle, with a small L letter that swings from the netting. Also on the netting is a small plastic starfish charm. The bottle is adorable, and one I will definitely keep around after the perfume is gone.

The Scent:
 
They claim the scent is a woodsy one, with a mix of vanilla, cinnamon, and orange. I have to disagree.
L de Lolita Lempicka for me smelled just like delicious sugar coated lemon drops, with a small hint of butter cream. The scent is delicious, and reminded me a little bit of the scent of funnel cakes, with a dash of lemon. All in all, it smells like candy, as it is sweet, and inviting.

The Last:
 
While on the long line in the store, the scent stood with me, and never faded. This was the reason I decided to buy the set. I figured if it could last while I was waiting on this giant line, it would continue to last. Unfortunately though, the scent does not last very long. L de Lolita Lempicka seems to have a 30 minute time span as far as last goes. After that, the scent becomes non existent, which was disappointing.

Overall:
 
L de Lolita Lempicka smells fantastic at first, with a gorgeous lemony summer zing to it. The bottle is precious too, and has a neat beachy mermaid theme going on; however the scent does not last long enough to justify my recommendation. If you are into collecting unique perfume bottles, then yes, you will love this one, but if you are into unique bottles and long lasting scent, L de Lolita Lempicka will be a disappointment to you.
