Burberry has always been a brand name well liked by many of my
girlfriends. Personally though I was never into the brand, nor their
fashion. Not liking their style, I never really payed any mind to their
fragrances. More recently though I have been given the chance to try 2
of their newer scents for women, and I have to admit, I am beginning to
like Burberry more and more with each and every sniff.
The latest scent I got hold of goes to Burberry Brit, Sheer.
The Scent:
Burberry Brit Sheer does not really stand out as an all too unique
fragrance, in fact the initial scent I got from it was a high note of
grapefruit, followed by a sweet clean refreshing scent of a freshly
drawn bubble bath.
It smelled juvenile, but as the scent began to make its rounds, I
noted a more floral fragrance that was very familiar to Britney Spears
first released fragrance. A citrus kick, followed by a mellow bubble
bath, and topped off with some florals. Pretty yummy, but not that
original.
The Last:
The big difference between that scent (Curious by Britney Spears), and this one though was that this one lasts and lasts and lasts some more.
So yes, although this one is like a mixture of fragrances that have
been done time and time again, it stands out because it lasts, unlike
cheap celeb fragrances that deliver a big punch, yet do not stick
around.
The Bottle:
Like all Burberry bottles, Burberry Brit Sheer retains that same bland
rectangular shape, with a pink and white plaid design on it.
I actually like this one though, the bottle is bland in shape, but I
like how the pink and white plaid brings its boring shape to life,
giving it that social butterfly, Barbie doll class to light. Would I
save the bottle though? Probably not.
Overall:
Burberry Brit Sheer is nothing to go wild over, but if found for a
decent price I would highly recommend it due to how well it lasts, and
how long you will find yourself enjoying it throughout the day. Just a
small spritz of it to the wrist and neck, and Britt will stick with you.
