Applying makeup is the fun artsy part, the not so fun, not so artsy part
about makeup application is makeup removal. In order for me to get
makeup off of my face completely I have always used pre-saturated makeup
removal cleansing cloths, followed up by a slight micro-derma facial
wash. It works, and I continue to go about removing makeup this way.
While seeking out my usual Olay brand of makeup removal pre-moistened
cleanser cloths, I realized they were sold out. Quickly I grabbed the
next best thing, and did not think much about it. They are called Olay Regenerist, Advanced Anti-Aging, Micro-Derm Cleansing Cloths.
Once home, I went to use one immediately to remove the makeup from my
face. I didn't realize till I got home that these cleansing cloths were
dry, and I needed to add water to them to activate the formula. I never
liked doing things this way, as I have found it to be messier, and it
does not ever work as good as pre-moistened towelettes.
My Use:
I didn't want to return them, and figured I would just go ahead and
use them just to see how well they worked. If they sucked, I would then
return them.
I wet the cloth, which has small rubbery like circles embedded into
the cloth. This is to give you a deeper cleanse, and to slightly
exfoliate the skin.
The cloth worked wonderfully, and it did remove most traces of makeup.
It had a rougher time working out eyeliner from my eyes, but all in all
it did leave my face feeling very clean, soft, and moisturized. I liked
it, and honestly I did not think I would.
I only needed to use one cloth, as they are a pretty decent size.
Overall:
Although the Olay Regenerist, Advanced Anti-Aging, Micro-Derm
Cleansing Cloths, had a hard time removing all traces of my eyeliner,
they did work really well, and left my skin feeling much, much cleaner
than my old wet-towelette method of removing makeup.
Likely I would buy these again if they were on sale. I like the
refreshed feeling my skin gets from the cloths, and the fact that it
comes with anti-aging properties doused within the cloth. Not to shabby.
