Recently I have had to pay extra special attention to my hair, basically
it was my own fault, I colored it 4 or 5 times in 1 month, and due to
the many coloring mishaps, my hair began to show extreme signs of
stress, such as dry, brittle, and split hairs. I knew if I left it
alone, the hair would just continue to get worse, so I went out, and
splurged on a years worth of hair care products.
One product that impressed me rather quickly and helped get my hair
back in somewhat original order was a conditioner containing Moroccan
argan oil by DermOrganic. The conditioner worked so well, but it was
pricey, and the shampoo was high up in price as well.
I figured I got extremely lucky when I happened to stumble upon Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo.
Priced at under $8.00, I went ahead and bought it. Like the pricey
conditioner, this low priced shampoo promised the same type of things. A
fix for damaged hair.
The Scent:
Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo has a pleasant scent, a
fresh one which reminds me more of fresh cut plant stems, with this
fresh cool rain zing as a slight undertone to it. At this point though, I
did not care what it smelled like, so long as it helped get my hair in
good condition. The plus though was that it smelled OK, so I did not
have to worry about having stinky hair.
My Use:
The consistency of this shampoo is rather odd compared to run of the
mill shampoo's that I am used to buying. This one has a slickness about
it, with a jelly like texture. It does not lather too well either, and I
found myself actually having to use another small handful of the
shampoo just to get that full clean feeling on my entire scalp.
The slick feeling remains while washing the shampoo out as well. It's
not a greasy feeling though, it's like this ultra slick cleanliness. My
hair however felt semi dry after rinsing.
Results:
No matter how unpleasant it was to use in the shower, the results
spoke for themselves, as my hair dried. It left my locks smooth, silky,
manageable, and not feeling gritty or dry the way it had been prior.
All in all, I am happy with the fast acting results, and the product
price in general. Had I not found this I would have had to spend nearly
$30.00 fir an Argan shampoo by another brand.
If you are in the same boat I was in, with dry damaged hair, then I
would recommend you check this one out. The results are fast, and your
hair will thank you for it.
