Review of Pantene Pro-V Curly Hair Series Satin Hold Hairspray

Recently, I have been allowing my hair to dry in its normal, natural state, which is curly. In the past I would brush my hair back and leave it in a tight bun. With summer here, I wanted to bring my curls back to life, as they are relatively frizzy and undefined.

When I discovered that Pantene had made a huge collection of hair products with every hair type in mind, I figured I would give it a try.

The collection I was after belonged to the curly hair series, and in this collection, I had my pick of just about everything and anything I could possibly need for my hair type, from conditioners to creams, leave-in treatments and sprays.

I went with Curly Hair Series Satin Touch Hairspray, and I hoped that the spray would truly keep frizz and fly-aways tamed down. The spray promised to keep frizz away, while allowing the hair to stay soft to the touch.

Scent:

Once home, I went about styling my hair as I usually would in order to obtain the best bouncy curls, and lastly I used the Pantene Pro-V Satin Touch Hairspray as a final finisher. I figured as the hair dried, my curls would be more refined, more bouncy and less frizzy and out of control.

I sprayed the hairspray into my hair. The scent is a clean, fresh scent, with that signature Pantene aroma that most of their products contain. It's not a lovely scent to die for, but it is pretty good, and it's one you wouldn't mind wearing in your hair daily.

What I especially liked about the hairspray's scent, though, was the fact that it does not have that potent, alcohol stink that most hairsprays contain. It was fresh-scented from start to finish.

Results:

As my hair dried I noticed that it was drying less frizzy than usual. The hairspray apparently had worked some charm into my locks.

Once the hair was completely dry, I was left with semi-soft, refined, curly hair. The hairspray also left my hair shinier than usual, so this was an additional bonus.

Overall:

Pantene Pro-V Curly Hair Series Satin Hold Hairspray is a winner in my opinion. I would recommend this spray to anyone looking to add a little frizz-free boost to her curly or curled hair. It leaves hair softer than other leading brands, and it lasts all day. It's also a light, strong hold, which anyone would appreciate.
