Review of Sally Hansen HD, High-Definition Nail Color- Lite

I have never paid much attention to my nails, and I never really liked how thick bulky fake nails looked on me; or anyone else for that matter. However after coming across a slew of really beautiful and bold summer nail polish colors, and being satisfied with the results, I have been collecting them up like candy. Truly, they are as beautiful as candy.

Primarily I had been collecting Nicole Nail Polish, and hoped to scoop up every single color. However while browsing for a new color I came across a new collection by Sally Hansen called Sally Hansen HD, High-Definition Nail Color.

When I came across the bold and bright, nearly neon yellow colored Sally Hansen HD Nail Polish, I was pretty surprised because I never thought yellow would be a color I would want to wear on my nails. Yellow always reminded me of horrid nicotine stains. There was just something so pretty about the yellow in this bottle, and the fact that they went and labeled it High-Definition, I was intrigued.

Granted the whole HD add on is more than likely a market tactic to get dummy's like myself to purchase it, it worked.

On Nails:

Sally Hansen HD goes on quickly and easily, and seriously does not require more than 1 coat. To really darken the coloring though I'd recommend using 2 coats.

What I really liked about the nail polish was how quickly it dried. It is not labeled as a fast dry, but it is rather quick drying compared to other nail polishes I have used in the past.

The results were nothing short of stunning. The nail color leaves behind a really bright and shiny metallic, near neon reflecting color on the nails, and its quite beautiful.

The color will last for quite some time as well, but you can touch them up as soon as you notice fading. A top coat of clear polish is really not necessary, but if you want to prolong the life of the color, go right ahead.

All in all, this one is a winner. Lite is a beautiful bold color, and can be found just about anywhere nail polish is sold. The price will run you around $7.00, give or take a few cents.
