Review of Village Naturals Bath Shoppe Ultra Softening Body Soak- Vanilla Amber

I rarely have a moment to myself, and when I do get a moment where the house is empty and everything is settled and quiet, I know I can amp up my relaxed moment, by spoiling myself with a hot bath. I always have bath products on hand, but like I said, rarely do I get the chance to settle down and actually take a hot bath where someone is not home, pounding at the door having to 'go'.

I had Village Naturals Bath Shoppe Ultra Softening Body Soak- Vanilla Amber, stored at the side of my tub for nearly a month, before I actually got around to using it. Once my moment came, I was glad I bought it. I picked this one up at a local superstore for under $5.00 and I remember immediately why I went with this scent. When I popped off the top I was greeted with a douse of the most warm and delicious scent I had smelled in a long time. Vanilla Amber smelled like vanilla sure, but the amber was what stole the show. It was just a really delicious summery fragrance with a nice sweet ring to it, which reminded me of honey.

They make this particular bath soak with actual dead sea salts, vitamins and minerals which combined will soften the skin.

My Use:
 
I ran a hot bath, and poured in a few of the bath salts, and took it upon myself to enjoy my latest, yet most ignored treat.

In the bath, the water definitely had turned silky, and moisturizing, which was exactly what I was hoping it would do. The scent rose around the room. In the water the amber fragrance died down a bit, and the vanilla scent was what stole the show from there on out.

Even in the absence of the sweet amber fragrance, the scent was relaxing, warm, and mostly the water felt fantastic on the skin. It was a perfect 'spoil me' moment.

If any of you reading this have ever used Lush bath ballistics, you will already know that silky water feeling I am describing. It's as if you are lounging in silk, and ribbons of warmth and moisture go running around the body. It's quite the luxurious feeling, and for something this cheap, I was surprised it delivered a product just as well as high end priced luxury bath brands.


Overall:
Village Naturals Bath Shoppe Ultra Softening Body Soak- Vanilla Amber, will definitely leave the skin softened, and moisturized. It also leaves behind a nice light kiss of vanilla fragrance which you will enjoy even after getting out and drying up.

All in all, I would use this one again and again, and if you are like me, and enjoy a nice relaxing dip in a hot bath every now and again, then definitely have this one on hand. You will not regret it.
