Review, Roxy, Perfume for Women

I've seen Roxy perfume for women sitting on shelves for quite some time now. I always considered the Roxy brand to be nice, but a little too bland for my flavor. I like edgy things, and Roxy just seems to 'inside of the box'.

This past holiday though, I was given a Roxy gift set which included the perfume. Not something I would buy, but it was definitely something I was happy to have been given.

The perfume comes in a round shaped bottle, that has nearly the exact shape that Lacoste Inspiration has. It's round, and contains a bland little square shaped clear topper. The bottle itself is transparent, and you are able to see how much perfume is inside of the bottle.

It's bland bottle is not collection worthy, and is one I'd throw out after the perfume is all used.
The perfume itself is a light pink color, which told me that Roxy would either smell like candy, or it would smell like flowers.

The Scent:

Roxy has a generic scent. The moment I sprayed some onto my wrist my nose was tickled with a familiar scent I used to use as a kid. It's light, sweet, and smells to me very much like Calgon Raspberry body spray. It's not even a real raspberry note, it's a doused in sugar raspberry scent that I really didn't like.

I don't hate the scent, I just don't like it much, nor would I wear it regularly.

The Last:

Calgon body sprays do not last as far as the lingering power goes. I wondered if Roxy would pack a similar weakness.

The good news is that it doesn't suck quite as bad as Calgon body sprays. It does in fact have last to it. The one small spritz to my wrist lasted for quite some time, and over time the scent fizzled down into a more likable light fragrance of powdered fruit.

Still though, it was not a scent I would wear regularly, even if the scent had some lingering kick to it.

Overall:

Roxy perfume for women is not for everyone, but I definitely can see it being someone's favorite, especially considering how long the light scent sticks to you. If you are into light fruity scents than you may actually enjoy this one. If not though, Roxy is one you may want to avoid.

For me, Roxy is just too childish of a fragrance.
