In the past when it came to dry or chapped lips, I would always turn to a classical favorite of mine; Chapstick. Recently though with a pre-order placed at Estee Lauder, I received a bunch of freebie gifts with my purchase. Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner SPF 15, was one of the free items they added to my gifts bag.
Normally I would never ever spend anything over $5.00 on a lip conditioner, however after receiving this one, I am pretty convinced that nothing else could do better, work better, or feel better, and yep, add me to the list of women who feel the $16.50 price tag that Estee Lauder attaches to this one, is well worth it.
I know what you are thinking though, $16.50 for lip conditioner! Who in their right mind would spend that much money on lip conditioner, when you can go get a stick of chapstick for a dollar!?
I know because I would say the same thing to anyone who told me they spent such a ridiculous amount on what appears to be clear lipstick. After trying this one though, man oh man, am I in love.
Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner protects the lips, adds a ton of moisturize, smooths and soothes them and by golly it feels like a trip to the spa for your lips, like a luxury treatment for the rich, and over time with consistent use my lips actually remain soft even when it was not on.
It feels as if it repairs them over time, brings them new life, and Chapstick...well, Chapstick never even came close to providing such smooth comfort and softness.
There is no flavor involved, and the texture is that of pure cream silk. I like applying this one onto my lips first, and then adding my favorite lip color. You can also apply this one to your lips at night for an overnight intensive treatment. It feels great, and in the morning you wake up to softer kissable lips.
Overall:
You can go ahead and continue using Chapstick for dry or cracked lips, or you can take my word for it and go ahead and splurge on the best lip conditioner your lips have ever felt.
Softer lips, a luxurious long lasting feeling, and what appears to feel like long term repair just by using it daily, is what I got from Estee Lauder's Lip Conditioner SPF 15, and when the tube runs out, I will be picking up another one.
Yes this one is pricey, but this is one I would definitely recommend.
