Not to be confused with the original, Miss Dior Cherie; Miss Dior Cherie L'eau is the latest spin off of the original fragrance and is more geared towards those who were not too fond of the strawberry fruity scent that the original gave off. L'eau in fact is as far from the fruit factory as Cherie could get with this round of perfume for women.
The Bottle:
Strikingly familiar too the original, and it is no wonder so many consumers grew confused. The only difference in the bottle you will find with L'eau is the added little script L'eau written on the bottle, and the lighter colored liquid inside of the bottle.
As far as those of you whom collect bottles, sadly L'eau is not one worthy of hogging up space. However her fragrance beckons for your attention with its light sweet ad clean notes.
Scent:
L'eau is a light floral scent with an after drop of rain that adds a nice refreshing earthy vibe which many will enjoy. It gives off a spring mood, and although it would be considered a spring or summer scent, I find the fragrance to be suiting for just about any season as it seems to transform into a low key musk that is very light, but still captures the senses.
Last:
With L'eau being such a light scent, I worried that the last would be short lived like most dewy fragrances similar to this one. However Miss Dior Cherie L'eau packs a long lasting scent which sets this one apart from it's refreshing scented competitors.
A few spritz to clothing in the morning, and L'eau will shine on till the afternoon. A winner in the lasting fragrance department, if you ask me.
Overall:
Miss Dior Cherie L'eau is not necessarily a must have fragrance, but if you happen to come across it for a low price, then it is definitely worthy of picking up. Light refreshing florals, with a long lasting punch. Not too shabby!
