I'm a lucky girl, a few weeks ago I was given a tube of Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx.
I had no idea that this eye cream was so darn expensive, and when I
found out how high priced it sold for, I was pretty excited to see how
well it actually worked - if it worked at all.
According to the packaging, I would be able to see visible results in
just 4 weeks. The skin surrounding my eyes would appear firmer, wrinkles
would be visibly reduced and the overall area will appear illuminated
and rejuvenated.
Now I don't have really horrible wrinkled skin near my eyes, but I
definitely have crows feet, and over the years I've watched these small
laugh lines slowly stretch out into larger ones. Although it's not
really noticed by others, it's the first thing I notice whenever I look
at my face in the mirror (well that, and my chicken pox scar in my
cheek).
I was excited to see how it would work, and I felt confident that this product would actually do what it promised to do.
The Cream:
The cream itself inside of the tub is white in color with a silky
consistency. It states to pat it onto your lower and upper lids. I did
as followed, and was happy that the cream had an easy to apply silk
texture to it. The cream itself goes on relatively thick, but it absorbs
rather quickly.
At first there was a texture left behind that felt a little bit
greasy, and I didn't like it all too much. However seeing that the cream
absorbed quickly the uncomfortable residue did not last.
Results After 1 Week:
Now I did not at all think that I would see any results or
transformations with my eye area in just one week. I was expecting to
have to wait up to 4 weeks to see any type of changes, however I am very
happy to note that I was noticing subtle differences after just one
week with daily use of Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx.
Although the results were subtle, they were definitely noticeable. The
area in general just seemed more refreshed, and the skin definitely
seemed firmer. I was able to tell the difference immediately while
applying my eyeliner in my 10x mirror. Small lines on my eyelids were
gone, and normally they are always there and easy to see when I apply my
eye liner. However after a week using the cream, they were barely even
there anymore.
My larger crows feet at the corners of my eyes were still present, but
they seemed a little faded, which was amazing in my opinion.
Long Term Results:
I've been using Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx for nearly 4
weeks now, and the difference is phenomenal. The eye area just looks
younger in general. Dark tired circles were no longer present, even on
days where I got little to no sleep. The eyelid improved drastically,
with no signs of smaller wrinkles on my lids at all.
My laugh lines which were rather large when I began using the cream
have also rubbed out into a more faded laugh line. In just around 4
weeks I noticed a huge change in the skin around my eye. It sounds
crazy, but I honestly feel as if the skin around the eye has taken a
trip in a time machine, and the skin looks 5 years younger.
The really impressing thing about Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx
is not only the fact that my wrinkles are nearly all faded, but it
actually improved the skin overall. The color just seems brighter, and
firmer giving the area this soft young glow that I haven't seen in a
really long time.
Concerns:
I really do not have major concerns with Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx,
but one daunting question haunts me. I wonder how quickly the skin
would reverse back to its original state if I discontinued using the
cream. The cream is very expensive, and I would hate to have to
continually buy it on a bi-monthly basis just to maintain the results.
There is .5 ounces of Absolue in the container, and after 4 weeks of
use, its just about half empty. Spending $87 every 2 months on the cream
worries me a bit, because I love it, and it works really, really well.
Overall:
Lancome Absolue Eye Premium Bx in my opinion is the miracle
cream for eyes. It worked wonders for me in 4 weeks, and even showed
subtle changes in just one week. The cream works well, and if you want
to smoothen out some fine lines near the eye area, than this would be
the cream I'd recommend to you most.
