Review of L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray

Recently I touched up my hair color with L'Oreal Excellence Cream dye, and instead of just coming packaged as the dye usually does, it included a small trial size aluminum spray can of L'Oreal Elnett Sating Hairspray. Since I have been wearing my hair curly over the past few weeks I was excited to give this new hairspray a try.
Prior to this free sample I had been using Salon Grafix with excellent results.

L'Oreal in general has never disappointed me, so I figured this hairspray would work marvelously.

The Scent:

L'Oreal Elnett smells delicious, it has a Jovan Musk like tint to it, with a very girly and powdery finish that I loved. A large normal sized can of this hairspray however is a little pricey, reaching in at $16.00 price levels, which is a bit absurd for hairspray.

I knew I would not buy this hairspray regularly, but if I liked how it held my curls I would buy it here and there when on sale. I use hairspray daily, so having to spend that much money regularly would be killer on a budget.

Hold:
The hairspray goes on lightly leaving a touch of the gorgeous scent behind, as far as holding in my curls, I am sure you are wondering how Elnett held up.
Well rest assured, if you plan on splurging on Elnett, it will be money well spent. The hairspray held my curls in place all day long, without leaving my hair flaky, stiff or dry. Basically you get a strong, strong hold, without sacrificing the softness of your hair.

Last:
Strong hold from Elnett will last all day long.

Overall:
L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray is a winner in my opinion. What L'Oreal has bottled up is the most excellent hairspray you could find, however the price... L'Oreal could work on that. It has always been my belief that the more affordable a product is, the more sales it will bring in.
