Females: Hairy Arms, Hot or Not?

So I never really gave my arms much of a thought. I like my arms. They are typically slender, and match the rest of my body fairly well; except for one thing. My arms have hair on them.

Not gobs and gobs of disgusting hair; just the norm. It's more like light peach fuzz, and the thought of shaving them never crossed my mind. I liked the hair. It was barely visible, so why worry about it?

My sister though saw my 'hairy arms' last week and told me I should shave my arms.

Shave my arms!? This was a dumb mistake I made when I was 12. The hair grew back darker and itched like an SOB. I don't care if the TYRA show says that shaving hair won't come back thicker and that it is a myth. It does come back slightly thicker, and darker, and with vengeance.

However as years passed the darker hair became lighter, and I never bothered with it.

After being told I needed to shave my arms I became more aware of women, and their hairy or hairless arms. I began looking around at strange women I had never met before, and decided to do this little personal study of mine on a 10 basis. I would look at 10 complete strangers (women) arms and see if they were bald or baring any fuzz.

Out of the 10 random women I peeked at, nearly all of them had bald arms (9 out of 10). Okay so, I guess my sister is right?

Hairless arms look a bit odd to me, and the arms shine a hell of a lot more then the hairy armed chicks. Probably because they went and screwed with their pores by shaving.

But the facts were there, 9 women I observed had hairless arms.

So are hairless arms attractive now?
 
I mean really!? Are they!? I am basically bald everywhere else because according to most, hair down there, is NASTY!

Now fashion experts say I need to shave my arms!
 
I beg to differ.

I think hairy arms (so long as it's not like 4 inch long jet black strands) is more natural looking, and believe it or not, sexier than bald arms. My hairy arms never look greasy or oily, or shiny like those chicks who shaved their fur.

What is this the era of mimicking a 6 year old's hairless body!? For real!? Something about that irks me, but that's just me.
 
I plan on keeping the fuzz that I have on my arms. I don't feel like adding yet another beauty task to my already numerous amounts of beauty tasks that the fashion world says I must follow in order to be beautiful.

I'd like to hear some opinions on hairy arms, from both men and women.
