Review of Bath & Body Works Glitter Art Stuff Shower Gel 6 Oz. Charmin Cherry

As of now one of my favorite lines from Bath and Body Works is no longer being sold on their official website. However luckily this line of yummy bath products is still at times available at my local Bath and Body Works. Although running into one of my favorite Art Stuff products does not come often, I am always free to search it out online and buy it.
What is it?
Charmin Cherry. It is a scent in the Art Stuff collection.
What is the Art Stuff Collection?
When I was a teen it was the best scented bathing products my nose ever did smell. The products is geared more towards teens, as they use fruity and sometimes sour scents to attract teens. Their products also at times include glitter, and other weird odd floating sparkles.
Charmin Cherry Shower Gel comes packed with mobs of glitter, which float about in a 6 ounce bottle red colored gel. It's really pretty when you first get a glimpse of it.
Scent:
What I love about Charmin Cherry is that it smells just like a cherry lollipop from Charmin. Oddly enough the name is identical. It is sweet, sour, and smells delicious. It however is not a scent that one would go for; say, if they were a boring reserved old fart.... for those of you that fit this bill....just pass. Charmin Cherry is designed for children, and teens... and of course those of us who embrace out inner child, and enjoy childhood lollipop scents.
My Use:
Well really there is no rocket science behind Charmin Cherry, you use it like you would any shower gel. Apply it to your bath sponge or poof, and wash away. I prefer using a poof because the small pockets collect the glitter and it actually causes none of the glitter to stick to my skin. Using a sponge is less effective at keeping you glitter free.
Charmin Cherry actually has runny gel compared to most shower gels I have used. It is though easy to apply without making a mess.
Lather:
The lather works up nicely, and within no time you will have a body full of cherry scented bubbles. The lather is pretty silky and moisturizing.
After shower power:
When it comes to shower gels, my favorites are always the ones that leave a scent behind. Charmin Cherry has been my favorite since I was a teen only because it does just that. The Charmin cherry scent is left behind and lingers for a few hours after using it.
It does however do nothing for you skin...except make it smell good. Me; I'm fine with that!
If you are looking for a moisturizing wash though, Charmin Cherry is not for you. Charmin Cherry won't dry your skin out, but it also won't moisturize it.
Glitter?
It is safe to report that glitter will not stick to your body. It rinses right off. I suggest using a shower poof though, because a straggler may get lose in your hair or something.
Overall:
Charmin Cherry has been a favorite of mine since I was about 16. I have found it here and there in my local Bath and Body Works. However seeing how the line is sort of disappearing I am forced to buy it online.
One site sells Charmin Cherry for $27.00 for a unit of 12, which you can find here at www.kpcwholesale.com.
Recommended?
Oh yeah. It's a scent that anyone (except dull boring folks) will love.
