Review of Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser

Now there was one huge major issue when it came to Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser, and that was precisely how to use it. I have found that every negative review I came across when it came to this 'cleanser', was that the person using it used it in the wrong manner. This is not necessarily their fault though, I blame Estee, and here is why.

If you are going to name something a cleanser, you should note that when customers hear the word, or see the word, they associate it with putting on the product and washing it off. This unfortunately is not at all the case when it comes to Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser. This is basically why this product is a failure, but it could make a comeback if Estee Lauder re-named it to something like after cleanser care.

My Use:

Like everyone else, I had been putting this on my face and washing it off thinking it was a standard facial cleanser. My skin did not feel clean, there were no suds, and no matter how much I rinsed my face felt greasy and dirty after using it. That was because, like the masses, I too thought this was a cleanser.

I ended up hating the stuff due to how poorly it worked as a cleanser.

I had no idea that I was supposed to be applying it to my skin after cleansing!

Once I realized that Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser was meant to be applied to my skin after washing/cleansing, I realized just how wonderful a product it actually was.

It is designed for those with dry skin. I however have combination dry/oily skin so I worried about whether or not it would create even oilier skin in my T zone area.

Luckily it did not.

Instead it left my skin feeling smooth, balanced, and moisturized without that sticky residue feeling. The cream has an interesting texture to it, almost border-lining that thin line between silky feeling and greasy feeling.

Some will either love it, or hate it. I actually liked the feeling it left behind, but really liked that the slick feeling absorbed into my skin no longer becoming an issue.

Results:

I have been using Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser properly for about 2 weeks now, and love how nicely it works on keeping my dry areas tender and soft, while not adding oil or grease to my more oil affected areas.

All around this is the perfect winter product for those who have dry skin on their faces. If you pick up the larger jug of Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser you will have more than enough of it to even use on dry areas on the body.

Overall:

At first I hated Estee Lauder Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser because I was using it all wrong. Once I discovered how to go about using it properly, it has become one of my favorite after cleansing products, and my skin loves it. Over time my skin became softer, so there is that nice long term effect that many will love.
