Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Cherry Blast: Review

I have never been thrilled when it came to 2 in 1 shampoo products. I find that I always have to use a conditioner after using a 2 in 1, even though it contains both shampoo and conditioner, my hair is still left dry.

About a year ago I became interested in kids shampoos only because they all have very playful and youthful scents that I adore. Suave for instance has a slew of kids 2 in 1's that smell absolutely delicious. In my time I have managed to try nearly all of them.

Today, I'm focusing on Cherry Blast, simply because it has been a product that I have bought time and time again. Not because it is an oh so wonderful 2 in 1; but because it leaves behind a lovely sour cherry lollipop scent.


My Use:
 
A small squirt of Cherry Blast goes a long way. It creates a ton of lather; although the lather is not thick and creamy like some of my other shampoo products, it's still a very nice feeling.

What's nicer though is how the sour cherry scent fills the entire bathroom. Although this one is geared towards the kids, adults would love it as well.

Sadly though, Suave Cherry Blast has its downfall. Even though it is meant to be used as a one step shampoo and conditioner, it will leave hair feeling a bit parched after rinsing out. I find that using my normal conditioner after using Cherry Blast, my hair is left silky.

Results:
 
Even after using my own scented conditioner after using Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Cherry Blast, my hair is still doused in a gorgeous and playful sour cherry scent. The scent is not as overpowering, but it does linger for the majority of the day.

Overall:
 
I love Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Cherry Blast. I am not thrilled with the results when using it alone, as my hair is left dry. However with a little dab of my own conditioner, and my hair is left feeling smooth. Best of all though it leaves behind the cherry scent, which I like a lot.

Although it is not for everyone, it is an enjoyable product. I like it for the mini blast from the past episodes I have while showering. It brings me back to times when everything was simple, and all I had to worry about was what I was having for lunch. It is definitely a child's scent, but for adults, it can bring you momentarily back to your childhood.

For me Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Cherry Blast is aromatherapy. Oh yeah, and kids will love it too.

Suave for Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo, Cherry Blast comes in a 12 ounce easy to squeeze red bottle. It has a large bright yellow cap with an easy click up lid. The price comes to around $3.00. I usually pick it up at my local Walmart or Kmart.
