RALPH Perfume for Women by Ralph Lauren: Review

Ralph Lauren fragrances have never been something I have been interested in. The designer products in general never really impressed me either. However when I was sent two samples of perfume from the Ralph Lauren company I was excited to try them out. I mean hey, you can't beat free. Plus who knows, maybe I'd actually end up liking it?

The first perfume I wanted to try was simply called Ralph, by Ralph Lauren. I found it odd that a woman's perfume would have a mans name, but whatever. It is still made for women.

Packaging:

Although my sample didn't come in a standard perfume bottle, the actual perfume (if you were to buy it) comes in a squared off (at the bottom) bulb shaped bottle with a really pretty light blue tint to it. Mostly though the tint is actually created by the reflection of the bottles blue top. On the bottle of the perfume, of course there is the Ralph Lauren logo splashed across it.

Scent:

At first Ralph smelled sort of masculine, and bug spray like. However as the perfume began to dry, I was noticing much more feminine floral notes, with a fresh sea breeze type under tone. Flowers and an ocean combined. I liked it a lot.

The high notes I was smelling smelled mostly like lilacs and hyacinth, which are amongst my favorite flowers. The refreshing floral notes are quite memorable as well.

How Long Does Ralph Last?

I figured it would not last long at all. Most pretty floral perfumes I have tried in the past have a short scent life, and should actually be categorized as body splashes.

Ralph however stood with me for the majority of the day, which was really nice. If sprayed on clothing it will last even longer. Overall I was quite impressed with how long the scent stood with me; light, yet still very recognizable.

Recommended Wear:

I'd recommend Ralph by Ralph Lauren for spring and summer day wear. It's very light, fragrant, feminine, and pleasing. Ralph by Ralph Lauren, reminds me of spring flower blossoms that just begin to let off scent, yet not quite in its full bloom potent scent stage.

Overall:

Ralph by Ralph Lauren is a really gorgeous floral fragrance, with a nice long lasting touch. Although I have never liked Ralph Lauren fragrances, this particular scent has opened a new door to Ralph Lauren fragrances for me. I won't push them aside so easily anymore.

I highly recommend Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I'll be seeking out a large bottle as soon as my sample runs out.

Where To Buy:

You can find Ralph by Ralph Lauren at local perfume distributors, or online for even lower prices. You can pick up a large 3.4 ounce bottle for around $55.00. Smaller sizes will obviously run for less.
