Ralph Wild, by Ralph Lauren, Perfume for Women: Review

This past week I was sent two free samples of Ralph Lauren perfume. One being called just Ralph, and the other Ralph Wild. Seeing how I just finished gabbing about Ralph; I will now take the time to gab about Ralph Wild.

Ralph Wild comes in the same bulb shaped bottle that Ralph comes in, only Ralph Wild's bottle is a pretty apple red color (it reminds me of red hot lava for some reason).

The official Ralph Lauren logo runs across the entire bottle, only this time it's got a small WILD logo at the end colored in a light green.

Scent:

Although Ralph Lauren claims that this is a berry scent, with tones of strawberry and watermelon... I was actually inhaling something different.

Yeah Ralph Wild smelled a wee bit berry like, but far from smelling like anything close to being called a watermelon or a strawberry. For me Ralph Wild smelled more like raspberries, but with a spicy hint of patchouli. In the mix I will even be bold by saying I smelled something floral, which may very well be cherry blossom which is in it.

Overall Ralph Wild is not an all around berry scent, it seems to be a 'wild' mix of just about everything nice, even some spice.

For me though, Ralph Wild is just a nice scent. It is not something that I would want to call my 'everyday' fragrance. It is just to spicy for my liking.

Last:

Ralph Wild by Ralph Lauren also has a long lasting scent. However as time goes on the scent takes on a more cherry musk scent, which is very light, but still recognizable. I however am not overly fond of the cherry musk scent. Again, it is far too spicy.

Recommended Wear:

I would recommend Ralph Wild for summer nights. It is a spicy and playful scent. It is too dark for me to recommend it for day wear....but a night on the town? Ralph Wild is a decent scent for such an occasion.

Overall:

I like Ralph Wild. I'm not entirely crazy about it, nor do I think I would actually purchase a actual bottle of it, but if it were ever on some sort of freakish super sale...maybe I'd scoop it up.

I like the initial scent, but as it wears thin and morphs into the spicier cherry musk scent, I don't care for it as much. That does not mean though that I wouldn't recommend it. I would recommend Ralph Wild to women who enjoy spicier more daring scents. I'm sure Ralph Wild would be a sure pleaser...plus the upside is that it lasts for a long time. So it is money well spent. Any perfume that is long lasting is money well spent.

Where To Buy:

You can pick up a bottle of Ralph Wild by Ralph Lauren anywhere perfume is sold. You can also find it online for $30.00 for a 1 ounce bottle. Larger bottles will cost more. But you already knew that now didn't you!?
