Review of Boots No 7 Refine & Rewind, Intense Perfecting Serum

I am like a psycho when it comes to my face. I flip out at any signs of acne, and small fine lines really leave a damper on my mood. I have been taking full throttle care of my facial skin for about 2 years now, and more recently began to really investigate the different wrinkle smoothing products.

You see I have very fine lines near my eyes, and a permanent line on my forehead that I know if I don't take care of will continue to spread, or worse, grow even deeper.

I have diligently sought products that contain hyaluronic acid, which is basically a serum that many consider a fountain of youth in a bottle. Besides just using that though, I wanted serums, lotions and other facial care products that would work in conjunction with one another at really fading away dull lifeless skin, smooth out wrinkles, and leave a nice youthful and natural glow.

I discover Boots No 7 about 2 months ago. I had used Boots in the past, but did not like their cleansing cloths, thankfully I gave Boots another change, and I am glad I did, because these low priced products seriously have been working better than my high end, over priced skin care products do. Besides saving myself a bundle of money every month, my skin is also showing brand new and wondrous results.

I picked up Boots No 7 Refine & Rewind, Intense Perfecting Serum on mega sale at a local Target. In the store they had a tester bottle open for customers to use, and naturally I did not hesitate to squirt some of the serum onto my hand to test out its texture.

Immediately I was in love, as I rubbed the serum into my skin I felt a very subtle tingly sensation on top of a nice silky texture that their line filling pen had. I love their line filler but I am never able to find it for sale anymore.

The scent is similar to the line filler, its a light chemical like scent that is neither bad nor good, but once you use Boots products for awhile the scent grows on you and you really begin to like it.

At home I first cleansed my face then went ahead and spoiled my skin with Boots No 7 Refine & Rewind, Intense Perfecting Serum. The silky texture is like a layer of silk on the skin, and nearly immediately you see a nice glow to the skin. The silk texture does not evaporate, and this is what I love about Boots No 7 lifting products. They leave behind a beautiful feeling on the skin that lasts. It's like a moisturizer and a wrinkle smoothing boost.

It works as a wonderful base for under makeup as well, allowing you to more easily spread foundations and other makeup you happen to be using in your daily routine.

As far as results go, when I used this alongside Boots No 7 Lifting and Firming Day and Night Cream I did in fact see results in less than a week. My skin was softer looking, more even in color and tone, and my pores were also not as large. My fine lines were still present but not as drastically.

All in all Boots NO 7 is now my favorite company when it comes to my skincare. This serum is a wonderful little treat for the skin, and I could not recommend it more.
