Review of New Outspoken Perfume for Women by Fergie

So earlier this evening I had a wonderful Avon representative stop me on a sidewalk to hand me her Avon booklet, and a few small sleeves of perfume samples. The samples were a bunch of perfume towelettes containing the newest scent by Fergie; Outspoken.

The bottle on the booklet looks like a really lovely bottle, and being a bottle collector myself, if I were to actually buy this perfume, I'd say it would be worthy of keeping. It's a nice deep purple black colored bottle, with a neat fancy liquor bottle type shape going on.

The Scent:
 
I didn't waste any time when it came to giving my samples a trial run. As I wiped the doused towelette all over my wrist and neck the very first scent that hit me was mosquito repellent, which a lot of men's colognes seem to reek of. Outspoken was definitely manly at first, but no less than 20 seconds later the true notes of the perfume began to disperse throughout the air.

It's sultry, with a berry like musk quality to it. Sadly though it reminded me all to much of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy perfume. Outspoken is not quite as sweet as that particular fragrance, but it definitely has the same type of notes to it.

The Last:
 
Many celebrity fragrances have one thing in common, and that is a pathetic last. Most celeb fragrances will only leave you with 20 minutes of the scent till you no longer can detect it. JLo seems to be the only A lister who manages to get long lasting fragrances; so kudos to Jennifer Lopez.
How does Fergie's Outspoken weigh in though?

Well surprisingly, I was impressed with just how long Outspoken lasted on me. The sultry romantic fragrance stuck around for quite a few hours till I was no longer able to detect it, so as far as last goes, Outspoken packs a fair enough punch, and is definitely worthy of being called a high quality fragrance.

Outspoken by Fergie is worthy of a purchase. If you want to test it seek out an Avaon rep who should have a few sleeves of available samples. If you like it as much as I did you can order it for $28.00 for a 1.7 ounce bottle, which is not bad at all!
