Review of Boots No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm

Normally I will not buy cleansers unless they contain some form of exfoliating beads or flecks. I've always felt that without them, my face just would not be getting as clean as it should be.

This past month though, I have fallen so hard in love with Boot No7 anti aging products, that when I came across their Boots No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm, I knew I had to have it.

You see many of Boots products, when it comes to anti aging, contains Hyaluronic Acid; which if you haven't heard, is considered botox in a bottle.

Now Boots No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm does not have Hyaluronic Acid as an ingredient, but I figured it would work rather well, just as their anti aging serums, and lotions do.

The balm comes in a fancy box, although it is not needed, I like that they package it this way so I know someones grubby filthy fingers was not all over the product before I bought it.

It's a standard bland white box, making it easy to miss, but impossible to ignore if you find the Boots shelf at your local Target. Some people avoid the specialty isle in their Target stores thinking the products down here are over priced, but rest assured, you get what you pay for, and when it comes to Boots, their products are not that expensive, and the ones that you may consider too pricey, are worth it.
This particular cleansing balm goes for $9.99, which is just about equal, or cheaper than many other cleansers like Olay.

The balm itself comes in a decent sized white bottle, with a clever little push down pump application release.

I press it down about 6 times, till I get a good sized hand serving of the balm. It is a white balm, with a very silky lotion like consistency.

I rubbed it all around my face and then rinsed. It comes off rather easily, and leaves behind a beautiful silky veil on your skin. Now I usually hate when cleaners leave behind a texture on my skin, but this particular cleanser leaves behind a lovely soft and silky feeling that you will not want to wipe away.

I imagine this texture is the anti aging ingredients. I worried about whether or not it would make me break out, but since it had that same nice feeling that their line filling pen leaves behind, I felt confident that it wouldn't leave my skin with break outs.

The slick silk feeling also absorbs into the skin within a minute or so after drying the skin.
I awoke with no break outs the following morning, and with using this one for only a few short days, I already notice a difference in my skin tone.

I guess I will no longer be seeking out cleansers with exfoliating beads, because Boots No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm does the job just perfectly. No break outs, even skin tone, and new softer feeling and looking skin.

I couldn't be happier.
