Review of Flirt Glitter Art Paks, for Nails

I bought this nail art kit called, Flirt Glitter Art Paks because it appeared that the kit came with itty nail stickers that I could use alongside the glitter packs, and rhinestones it came with. However the back of the package was basically a 'what you can do', and I figured since they added little star stickers on the nails on the back of the package that inside of the package I would find these same little star stickers, and small green and white swoosh stickies. No such luck. Either the package advertising was just a load of you know what, or...someone opened mine and stole the stickers.

What I did get, for $2.99 were 2 packages of holographic glitter bags, a small package of mini rhinestones, and a baggie of holographic stars.

I was a little disappointed in what I got, I wanted to get extra creative with my nails and add those stickers that should have come with the kit...yet didn't.

Te glitter however is really beautiful, and ultra fine. The holographic glitter is silver and gives off reflections of the rainbow, while the pink holographic glitter gives off a purple rainbow that is really quite beautiful. The rhinestones are noting more than typical rhinestones which I knew I would have a hard time getting to stick to the nail. The holographic stars were really bright and beautiful, and gave off a much prettier and darker holographic rainbow than the silver glitter did.

All in all, I liked the glitter, and the stars and rhinestones. What I did not like was how messy and difficult using the glitter was. The kit did include a small wooden sharpened stick to help make the process of adding the rhinestones, stars, and glitter easier, but it truly was no help to me because the bags of glitter was so thin and small that I pretty much got to use it as a one time use deal, and for the price I paid, I was not to happy about it.

I used the pink holographic glitter, and ended up just pouring all of the contents onto my nails and toe nails, because making a perfect line like they show on the package is pretty close to impossible.
Granted the results were really beautiful, it stunk that I could not gather up the loose flecks of glitter that fell to my newspaper while using the glitter, because it would have been impossible to slip it back into this micro small bag it came in. So a lot was wasted.

The rhinestones I decided to place on top of the glitter while my nail was still wet. That worked without an issue, but I had to use quite a bit of clear polish to really feel confident that the rhinestone would stay put, even after having to use my own crazy glue to affix it.

Overall the kit is not that expensive, but it does not include everything you would need to really do a great job on your nails. A wooden stick, no crazy glue or adhesive for the rhinestones. It was more of a other, than a fun artsy craft.
All in all, I'd say skip it.
