This past summer, I have changed my hair style into curls. Normally I
wore it straight and back, and figured I was due for something new. With
my hair being naturally wavy and thick I knew that using gel and
scrunching the hair would allow the curls to form more easily, and stay
put, instead of frizzing out on me.
This did work, but the problem was the gel would eventually wear off
and my curls would go limp, and grow puffier as the day went on. Since
you cannot really re-add gel to dry hair, I had to formulate a new plan.
Hairspray would work well enough, but at times my hair would feel too
dry after using it.
When I came across a bottle of John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray,
I did not really know what to expect from it. John Frieda has always
been a hair care favorite of mine, but many of their products are either
hit or miss.
I used the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting
Spray as directed. I showered first, then added some of the spray all
over my hair. I scrunched, and awaited.
Now when this spray is used alone it truly works marvelously on those
with thinner hair. However I have thick hair, and this spray worked best
when used alongside hair gel, and John Frieda Moisture Barrier Hair
Spray.
My hair dried perfectly, the curls were more defined, and frizz was
nowhere to be found all throughout the day and into the next.
When the curls began to look a little limp, I simple sprayed some more
of the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray
onto my hair, ad watched as the curls slowly dried and sprang back to
life with a new freshly showered shiny look.
Overall:
It's a winner in my opinion, and will become part of my usual routine
for curling my hair to perfection. I was not expecting this one to work
as well as it did, and I am happy to have found something that works as
well as this one does.
I'd recommend this spray to anyone who is looking to have more well
defined and frizz free curls. If you have thick hair, use it alongside
some gel and hairspray for even prettier looking, long lasting curls.
