When I first stumbled upon Jesse's Girl Liquid Crystal Lip Glosses, I was so dazzled by what I saw that I ended up buying 3 of the 4 available ultra unique colors.
What stuck out for me was the glowing effect that these glosses gave
up in their tubes in the daylight. I have never seen anything glow like
this in direct lighting, it was as if they were placed under their own
black light, and nothing I have ever come across, as far as lip gloss is
concerned, has ever stopped me in my tracks like this and demanded my
attention, as much as the Liquid Crystal collection of glosses.
Tangerine in particular was a color that on the shelf looked to give off a really unique glow of orange, green and a tint of peach.
I swiped a bit of the color on to my hand to see exactly how nice it
would look. I was shocked at what I saw. The color seemed to glow as
soon as it touched the surface of my skin. The glow was dazzling, a mix
of a yellow and peach glow, with a hint of kryptonite like lime that
amazed me. I wondered how on earth a lip gloss could glow like this
without being under a black light! Color me impressed, this lip gloss
was like nothing I have ever seen before.
Once home, I got to testing this color out on my lips.
On nude lips, the color does have a very subtle holographic like peach
glow going on, but the color did not stick out quite as bright as it
did on my skin. I don't know what it is, or why that is, but on the lips
it looked rather bland.
I got angry, because I had just spent $4.99 on this lip gloss. Then I
got to thinking about how it may show up on top of my lipstick.
Well here is what happened. On top of pink, brown, or lighter
lipsticks the Tangerine Liquid Crystal Lip Gloss did not show up at all.
Then I did something a little daring. I applied some black lipstick, and then added some Tangerine gloss on top.
I was dazzled, captivated, and completely in awe at how perfectly it
worked on top of pitch black lips. The color completely drowns out the
black lipstick, so you do not have to worry about looking too Gothic or
bizarre. The tangerine color on top of black lips though gave off a more
yellow and green glow, but it's not an ugly one, it's completely unique
to anything I have ever seen, because it truly looks as if your lips
are glowing.
No this may not be an effect everyone would like, but it is definitely
not ugly, and will work for just about anyone if you are willing to
match your wardrobe up a little bit.
All in all, the Tangerine Liquid Crystal Lip Gloss by Jesse's Girl is
unique to anything you will ever come across, and it is totally worth
giving a try. You just may like what you see.
