Review of Sinful Colors Nail Polish: Miami Heat
The collection of nail colors was by a company I had never seen or heard of called Sinful Colors. Some of the colors were a little bland, but others stuck out as worthy of taking home, and giving to my niece. I ended up purchasing a light lilac color for her, and seeing that I did not have a deep blue colored nail polish, I went with Miami Heat.
Now when you think of a color that would match up with such a name as Miami Heat, you would probably think of an orange or orange red nail polish color. That was not the case with Sinful Colors, Miami Heat. In this bottle you get a beautiful solid deep navy blue colored nail polish.
I worried that the polish would be a low quality one, seeing that it was so cheap. Believe me, I have run into my fair share of crud nail polish before, and for the most part, many of these lower end polishes look beautiful in the bottle, yet fail to deliver the same bright bold coloring on nails. I hoped that Miami Heat would look as pretty on my nails, as it did in the bottle, and I also hoped I would not have to apply 6 layers of polish just to have the color show up.
My Use:
Once home, I removed my old nail polish and got to working on my nails using Miami Heat. I was pretty surprised at just how well this color showed in just one layer. The blue color saturated my nails, and dried rather quickly. The color was as authentic looking on my nails, as it was in the bottle. I was left with that deep shiny blue color, and I loved it.
I added another layer for an even deeper blue finish.
Drying time is not bad either. It does not dry as quickly as Opi Polishes, or Sally Hansen Insta Dri colors, but Sinful Colors holds its own, and dry time was around a minute or 2, which is not bad at all.
Overall:
Sinful Colors Miami Heat is a beautiful nail polish, and surprisingly it works just as well as higher priced polishes like Opi or Sally Hansen. Color me impressed. I will be checking them out again, and taking home some more colors later on in the week.
