Review of John Frieda: Brilliant Brunette, Light Reflecting Conditioner with Light Enhancers

Recently I dyed my hair a dark brown. I used to be a blonde, and quite a few of my hair products were designed for blonde's, however as a brunette now, I had to update my collection, and purchase products designed for us darker beauts. A few days ago I had purchased John Frieda's Light Reflecting Shampoo for chestnut to espresso darker shades. I was so impressed with the shampoo, that I had to go out and find the sister conditioner.
The John Frieda Light Reflecting Conditioner with Light Enhancers is part of the Brilliant Brunette collection. I purchased it in the chestnut to espresso darker shade, because my hair...is dark now. This is the darkest shade they offer, so I had no other choice.
The conditioner promises moisturization to dry locks, shine to dull hair, and that my hair will be transformed to a more supple and easier to manage style.
The shampoo promised the same, and it worked wonders, so I knew that the conditioner would work just as well. I was right by the way...so very right.
In the shower I first rinsed using the sister shampoo. After that the I popped the top on the conditioner, and applied a half handful of the light brown creamy conditioner. The scent was identical to the shampoo, which really has no particular flower or food scent to it. It's more of a clean soapy type smell which I enjoy.
I left the conditioner in my hair for about 3 minutes and then rinsed. I could feel the difference as I rinsed. Usually when you can feel a significant difference while you a rinsing out, it means the results will look and feel superb.
Results:
After my hair was dry and styled straight, it looked and felt like heaven. My darker hair shined like star light, it was left soft, and frizz free. Plus a light clean scent was left behind.
I honestly could not be happier with this conditioner, and this is why I recommend it to brunettes with darker locks, like me.
Appearance:
The John Frieda John Frieda Light Reflecting Conditioner with Light Enhancers (for chestnut to espresso) comes in a stand up tube. The cap is on the bottom, so squeezing out the conditioner comes easier. The bottle itself is a deep dark espresso color, and comes with 8.45 ounces of conditioner.
Pricing and availability:
I picked up the tube at my local drugstore (CVS) for $4.99.
It was well worth it.
Recommendation:
Pair this conditioner up with it's sister shampoo for even better results.
Tip:
For even more moisturization saturate wet hair in John Frieda Light Reflecting Conditioner with Light Enhancers and place a plastic bag over your head for an hour. This gives you an intense deep conditioning, and works wonders for dry hair.
