You are to spray it into damp hair and brush it through. I use it on both dry and damp hair, but applying it to damp hair allowed me to actually brush through my hair without any snarls, snags or breaks. It gave my damaged hair a silk sleek texture which made it easier to get through the hair.

Prior to using it, I was combating unruly dry hair, even while it was damp!

With L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Multi-Restorative Dry Oil in damp hair, it allowed my hair to dry softer and less burnt and dry feeling.

Since my hair was so damaged, I also used the spray in my hair when it was dry to add instant long lasting shine.

The initial feeling it adds to hair is oily, but the hair absorbs the feeling and it leaves no oily residue behind once the hair soaks it up.

I can now apply a hot iron to the hair and it does not look as burnt and charred on the ends anymore. This spray has literally saved my hair, when I thought I would have to cut it just to bring it back to life.
