Review of Ojon, Revitalizing Mist with Ojon Oil

After lightening my hair several times too often, I noticed that my hair really began to take a toll. I have done this before; ruined my hair that is. I knew exactly how to fix it too, and sadly it involves a lot of trial and errors with expensive branded hair care products.

My hair was literally so damaged that I could not even run the straight iron through it, without the ends curling up or frying. I wanted to fix this issue immediately and the fix does not at all have to involve a hair cut. Just some TLC, and patience.

I ended up picking up a bottle of Ojon, Revitalizing Mist With Ojon Oil from Sephora based off of the high review ratings. Some claimed it was the super leave in mist that could fix all damage. However, I decided I would be the judge of that.

What It Promises:

Now Ojon, Revitalizing Mist With Ojon Oil does not promise to fix damaged hair like mine, but it did promise to hydrate it (which it needed greatly), revitalize, tame and detangle. Since my hair was so damaged, it easily snagged up into cotton like knots. Knots which could not be just combed out, as it would damage the hair even more.

I figured perhaps this mist would do the trick. I could only hope.

How Does It Work?

You can spray Ojon, Revitalizing Mist With Ojon Oil into damp towel dried hair, or you can spray it onto dry hair. I used it both ways, but found that it seems to work much better on dry hair.

The spray comes out of the pumps nozzle in a fine mist, which covers the hair better and more evenly than other standard non-mist sprays and finishes. I was actually happy with how well it worked as a mist.

I used it in my hair after it had dried, and hoped that when it wet my hair that my hair would not just fluff up as it normally does when you get it wet. I was actually very surprised that instead of fluffing my hair up, it weighed it down and left it softer and less puffy than it was. It was a good weigh down for the hair though, not a thick, sticky or greased one.

Overall:

Now Ojon, Revitalizing Mist With Ojon Oil did not fix my hair, but what it did do was make my hair look less dull, lifeless, and dry. Instead I got hair that looked healthy. Granted it has a long way to go to completely heal, this mist actually makes it so my hair looks healthy while it heals to an actual healthy state. It also left my hair more manegable, softer, and feeling a tad bit more moisturized.

All in all, I was glad I made the purchase. I had never heard of OJon products before, and I was glad I decided to give something new a shot.

Who It's For:

Those with hair that looks dull, or lifeless. Hair that has been so damaged that all you want at this point is for it to look less dry and hay like. This stuff will be a temporary fix on the appearance of your hair until your hair is back to normal condition.
