I have tried quite a few C.O. Bigelow beauty products ever since the
line hit Bath & Body Works. Out of everything I've ever tried
though, I have always found the product to be more overpriced than it
was actually worth, so I stopped buying their body products.
Recently though I was given a small 2 ounce plastic squeeze bottle of C.O. Bigelow Almond Superb Body Lotion,
and there was no way I was not going to try it. Although I had big
doubts about how well it would work, I still went ahead and used it.
I squeezed a small amount of the lotion into my palms and spread it
around my elbows and arms for the sake of testing it. If I liked it I
would use it everywhere else.
Well...I didn't just like it. I loved it.
C.O. Bigelow Almond Superb Body Lotion smelled like warm roasted
almonds, realistic, delicious, and best of all the scent was strong, and
long lasting. I fell in love with it at first sniff! It was so
unfortunate that the bottle was so small.
The lotion itself is primarily white, with a semi toasted brown tint
to it. It spreads evenly on the skin, and absorbs very quickly. It does
not leave behind any greasy texture to the skin, so this alone was a
major plus.
The best thing about C.O. Bigelow Almond Superb Body Lotion though is
not only its delicious nutty fragrance, but the fact that it moisturized
my skin and left my hands and other body parts so soft.
Most lotions that promise to moisturize leave my skin feeling oily,
but this was not the case with C.O. Bigelow Almond Superb Body Lotion.
C.O. My skin felt like my skin, and not some over processed grease
ridden mess, like other moisturizing lotions have done.
Overall:
C.O. Bigelow Almond Superb Body Lotion is as the name describes;
superb! It offers softer skin instantly, and sweet addicting realistic
almond scent to your skin. highly, highly recommend this one to anyone
looking for a great scented lotion, that also moisturizes skin!
Where To Buy:
I'm unsure if Bath and Body Works still sells this one, so if you
cannot find it there, you can find it discounted on Ebay.com for about
$3.00. I have yet to come across a bottle larger than this small 2 ounce
one though, which is unfortunate, because this is some really great
lotion, and I would use more had the bottle been larger.
