Review of Andrea EyeQ's Eye Make-Up Remover Pads, Oil Free

I love eye liner, and I love mascara. It defines my eyeballs, and just makes my face look better. I think so anyway. I hate though waking up in the morning after thinking I had washed my face well the night before; only to wake up to raccoon eyes.
I had never used makeup removal pads or liquids. I had always just scrubbed the hell out of my face with soap and water. When my cousin actually came over one day with a tub of makeup removal pads I was interested in seeing how well they worked. She handed me a small circular pad, and I took it to my eyeballs.
They worked like a charm and removed the makeup with ease, and no strain on my face. However they left behind a nasty oily slick feeling on my face that I did not like. They were great and all, but in the long run I knew using these nasty pads would cause break outs.
When I came across similar ones in my local CVS, they promised to be oil free. I bought them for $5 and change, but wondered if they would work as good as the ones my cousin had with the oil.
The removal pads were by an entire different company than her Almay ones, but I figured they'd all be the same oil or no oil. The ones I had bought came with 65 removal pads by Andrea EyeQ's.
Later in the evening when I wanted to take off my eye makeup, I unscrewed the top and put the Andrea EyeQ's Eye Make-Up Remover Pads to work. I took one out and swished it around my eye. I looked at the pad; they definitely were working. I rubbed the eye some more until finally there was nothing left. I then flipped the pad and used the clean side for the other eye. It removed most of it, but I was forced to use a second pad to completely remove the makeup from both eyes.
Like the tub said too; the pads were oil free. They left no residue or oils behind like my cousins pads had done. Man I had to tell her about these! I guess she was not aware you could purchase oil free ones.
I continued to use the pads religiously, and found myself being able to experiment with different eye makeup techniques and styles with ease. I was able to try a different color, different liner, and remove it to try something else. This would have been an impossible feat without these pads.
The 65 pads lasted me almost 2 months, and for $5.00 it was well worth it. I still use the Andrea EyeQ's Eye Make-Up Remover Pads, Oil Free now. I began using them years ago.
I can't complain really about them at all; except for one tiny thing...I wish they came in value packs, where they'd include 100 of them instead of 65. I have never found a larger tub of them, and it would be nice to not have to worry about running out every other month.
You can purchase them at any local CVS or drug store. The price will vary, but will never exceed $6.00.
Overall I have been happy with my purchases over the years, and will not likely stop purchasing them unless my eye breaks out in huge infected masses.
I recommend you try them if you wear eye makeup and have a hard time removing the makeup afterward. Trust me, this will work 100x's better than soap and water. The pads will not burn eyes either. Just make sure you keep them closed when using the pads.
