Review of New L'Oreal - Hyaluronic Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo

After trying a few of L'Oreal's new conditioners on my over-processed hair, and discovering how beautifully well they were helping, I decided too go ahead and try out L'Oreal - Hyaluronic Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo.

The reason being was that I was starting to notice that my other shampoo's were drying my hair out, and the need for more conditioner was necessary in order to balance things out. L'Oreal - Hyaluronic Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo promised to add moisture, and that was what my parched hair needed the most after dying it blonde.

The Scent:

There is nothing really notably special when it comes to the fragrance that L'Oreal - Hyaluronic Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo gives off. It is a standard clean and fresh scent, but definitely not one that you will go batty over.

My Use:

After drenching my hair, I added a healthy amount of the shampoo and began to work it into a lather. The texture of the shampoo us rich, with a very creamy base. This does not at all though deter it from creating a rich lather, because it does, and even a small amount of the shampoo was beyond capable of completely saturating my very long and thick hair with the shampoo.

During the lathering process, I realized that this shampoo was the good stuff, and that was because my hair was not feeling hay like, dry or lacking in elasticity. It was as if it were a shampoo/conditioner mix, and I had a good feeling that when I rinsed that my hair would feel the effects of being moisturized from root to tip.

Results:

As expected, the shampoo did the trick. After rinsing it out my hair actually felt quenched as if I just rinsed out conditioner, and not shampoo. I worried though if my hair would be too over moisturized after adding the sister conditioner.

Luckily that was not the case. My hair was perfectly moisturized, soft, manageable and looked healthier by at least 40%. I still have dry ends, but that comes with the package of over-processing. Over time I know it will heal, and L'Oreal - Hyaluronic Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo will just be a boost to help heal the damages faster.

Overall:

Excellent shampoo. If you have dry hair, or extreme dry hair this shampoo will help quench the hay like texture quite a bit. A pure win in my opinion, and considering the lower price, it is so worth it. I have not gotten results this good even out of higher end shampoo.
