Review of Perry Ellis, Fragrance for Men

This past week I had the pleasure of getting freebie samples of fragrances for me by Perry Ellis. This set included 3 different delicious fragrance's, and the one up on the chopping block today is Perry Ellis. Noting fancy to follow; just simply Perry Ellis, which I imagine is their first scent in their growing collection of fragrances for both men and women.

Perry Ellis comes in a standard bottle, nothing fancy or worthy of keeping afterward. It has some sort of unique embellishment on its bottle, but I am not sure it was necessary, I suppose it just allows the bottle to stick out amongst its competition.

The Scent:

The problem I have with fragrance's for men, is that most of them all smell the same. A fresh scent with a masculine spice added to the mix. Mostly though, many of them smell like bug spray, only with a hefty jaw dropping price tag.

Perry Ellis follows suit to the trend of bug spray type scents, only they add in a little something sweeter, which sets this one apart from it's other bug repellent friends. As the scent fades down a bit it subsides into a more mellow musk like mixture, which is still very masculine, but less buggy-be-gone, in scent.

Last:

Another plus besides the unique fragrance is the fact that it sticks around. Many designer cologne's do it right, and others fail to have a long lasting fragrance, Perry Ellis however did their fragrance right by making it one that lasts and lasts, thus making this scent all the more desirable.

Overall:

It's manly, it's long lasting, and it is one that the ladies around you will like. All in all I find this particular fragrance for men a winner. If you are having a tough time buying holiday gifts for that special fellow in your life, then check this one out for him.
