Curious Perfume by Britney Spears - Review Do You Dare?

I have never been a music fan of Britney Spears; however I do enjoy flipping about tabloids and seeing whats up in her life. I know that's lame and all, but reading up about Britney is interesting. The battle for her boys, the K Fed divorce, the whole Britney deal.
A few years ago before her K Fed train wreck, she came out with her very first fragrance; Curious. Although there was not much Britney news buzzing quite yet, I must say I was quite curious on this fragrance. The commercial she put together to advertise Curious was beautiful, and enchanting, which actually drew me in to wanting a bottle of my own.
When it first hit the shelves, I wanted to get a sniff, and of course this is what I did. It was at our local Macy's when I first got to sniff out Brit Brit's perfume.
Scent:
Drool! Yum, yum. There is nothing curious about it really. It smells just like fruit; fresh clean fruit. It reminds me of strawberry, raspberry, and clouds. However seeing how the price was $39.99 at the time I passed. It was a likable scent, but not worth $39.99
As time went on, the price went down, down, down, and I was actually able to pick up a bottle of it at my local Walmart for $19.99.
Packaging:
Britney Spears' Curious comes in a black box, with blue metallic doodles on it. The box itself has the name of the perfume, badda bing badda bam. You get the dilly?
Inside of the box lies the actual bottle. It's a classy looking bottle, with a transparent ice blue color. Some bottles come with Victorian squeeze applicators, and smaller bottles come with standard spritzers. Smaller bottles of Curious come with nothing but a hole for you to tip the bottle and apply with your finger.
How Long Does It Last?
When I buy perfume I always hope that it is a long lasting scent that I can detect on my clothes for hours. I adore JLO GLOW because the scent will remain on my clothing till I wash it. I was hoping for the same results with Britney Spears Curious.
I pumped on a few spritz of the perfume on my clothing, and neck. The scent was lovely...but seriously... I am 'curious' as to where the scent went 10 minutes later. I could not smell it on me at all. It was gone, history, outta here!
This pissed me of naturally. I could of seriously bought a crappy body spray that would have done the same. Sigh.
Overall:
The scent is great, I love it actually, but the scent of Curious disappears so quickly that it is not even worth $10.00. As soon as the perfume dries, the scent vanishes.
Too bad.
Recommendation:
Sorry, Britney...Curious is a no go.
