When you spend close to $30.00 on a hair conditioner you expect awesome
results. You expect salon results, you expect something out of the
norm...
But what happens when you spend nearly $30.00 on a conditioner that
does the same thing as a dollar store brand? Odds are you return it.
Does Bumble and Bumbles Super Rich Conditioner deserve a spotlight, or does it deserve to be tossed back on the counter?
Before you spend $24.99 on Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner
you want to know more about it. You want to know if it will give you
that moisturizing silky, shiny hair that you are looking to achieve.
That's where I come in.
Recently I was given an 8 ounce bottle of Bumble and Bumble Super Rich
Conditioner for free. My first reaction was 'oh boy, I cannot wait to
try it'. My second reaction was 'I can't wait to review it!'
Packaging:
Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner comes in a standard Bumble
and Bumble stand up squeeze bottle with the standard black click up cap.
The label on the bottle is a bumble bee yellow with the Bb logo on it,
and the name of the conditioner. Keep an eye out for the name of the
conditioner, this one clearly states Super Rich Conditioner. You want to
make sure you don't accidentally pick up the Gentle Formula.
Scent:
What threw me back about Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner was
its scent. It seriously smelled identical to Bumble and Bumbles Curl
Conscious Conditioner. The cucumber melon scent, mixed with some sweet
hard candy like scent. It was pretty identical, and it made me wonder if
it was the same crap thrown into a different bottle.
But like they say, I couldn't knock it till I tried it.
The Promise:
For $25.00 it better damn well do exactly as it promises. Bumble and
Bumble Super Rich Conditioner promises ... ummm... it didn't promise
very much really. It basically just states that it is meant for dry over
processed hair. I guess it adds hydration and moisture to dry over
processed locks, or something like that.
Results:
I left Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner in my hair for about 4
minutes and rinsed out. As with any conditioner it did leave my hair
feeling soft, silky and knot free. However we all know that this meant
squat...the real results occur as the hair dries.
I let my hair air dry and I am saddened to inform you that Bumble and
Bumble Super Rich Conditioner didn't do anything for my hair at all. The
ends of my hair towards the front of my face is where I suffer the most
dry parched pieces of hair...and Bumble and Bumble Super Rich
Conditioner did diddly squat for those dry hay like hairs that fall to
my chin.
For the price of Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner I expected a
bit more...but because I have had not so great experiences with Bumble
and Bumble before I sort of expected this conditioner not to do much for
me. I'm not sure if it is my thick wavy hair type, or if it is the
actual product.
Although my hair was left in it's usual dried out state I can note one
good thing about Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner. It left that
cucumber melon scent behind in my hair which was enjoyable.
For the price of Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner though, it
should of done something more than just leave my hair smelling nice.
Recommendation:
Sorry, I can't recommend this one. It's a pass in my opinion.
