I'm a lotion junkie, and when a lotion junkie receives a slew of freebie
lotions she of course has to report her findings online in the form of a
review.
Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy -
Fresh Scent is a lotion that I normally would not buy on my own.
When I buy lotions I look at the packaging. If the packaging isn't
pretty or appealing, I will not buy the lotion. After I fall for the
pretty labeling on the product I then pop the top and look for a scent
that my senses agree with. If the scent is a good one I buy it. If it
sucks I leave it.
When I buy lotion I look for these things, although that sounds
vain...it's what I look for. If the packaging isn't pretty I won't even
smell it. Many will say don't judge a book by it's cover...and I tend
not to. When it comes to beauty products though; I can't help it. It is
after all 'beauty' products we're talking about.
I don't look for moisturizing benefits, or hydration and all that stuff others would look for.
This is why Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin,
Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent would sit on the counter. The packaging is
ugly, the shape of the bottle is ugly, and the entire thing just looks
and sounds gross. Lubriderm.Barf!
The Scent:
I knew that it would suck, I could tell just by the crappy ugly
duckling bottle that the lotion came in. Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion
for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent smells like old baby
powder mixed with glue. Ew! I know who the hell wants to smell like a
powdered babies arse mixed with Elmer's glue?
Not me!
The Promise:
Once I was done sniffing my new powdered glue lotion I then turned the bottle around to read the description.
Let me make it easy and beat past all that BS ...Lubriderm Daily
Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent...
its got the word moisturizing, benefits, non-greasy, healthy skin, blah
blah this and that.
Okay it was all boring, the description, the bottle, the smell...
Basically if you want moisturized skin you have to smell funky...but at least it's non-greasy right?
My Use:
For the sake of this review I of course had to put Lubriderm Daily
Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent to
the test. I pumped out a fair amount of the lotion and rubbed it onto my
legs. They always are dry and flaky in the winter months.
The lotion is thick, and a little goes a long way. I didn't like the
feeling though, it reminded me of Bath and Body Works Body
Butters...that thick, heavy, buttery texture that makes itself known
because t does not absorb well.
Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy -
Fresh Scent was just like that. It took forever to absorb into my skin,
and when it did, the lotion did in fact leave behind a semi greasy
feeling. The promise is busted. The formula leaves behind a gross
residue, I don't give a crap what the bottle says...Lubriderm Daily
Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent is greasy.
Overall:
Hated it!
It was probably the nastiest gunk I have put on my skin in awhile.
If you are looking for a moisturizer for dry skin though, Lubriderm
Daily Moisture Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Skin Therapy - Fresh Scent
will give you moisturization...with some buttery grease of course.
Where To Buy It:

local drug store or super store. The price will vary anywhere from $3.00
to $4.50 depending on the size bottle you buy.
