Review of VO5 Passion Fruit Smoothie Shampoo

I have been using VO5 Moisture Milks for quite some time now. It seems that this cheap shampoo and conditioner line of products works wonders, and the low price is what keeps me coming back for more.
This past month I have been happily using my moms Alberto VO5 shampoo...she somehow managed to get her hands on a brand new scent from the Moisture Milks collection; I of course have been benefiting from her purchase; well, my hair has anyway.
Passion Fruit Smoothie is one of the newer scents that just fell into the line of products, and Passion Fruit Smoothie works like a charm. Like all Moisture Milk products in the VO5 family Passion Fruit Smoothie promises to moisturize my dry locks, leaving my hair manageable, shiny, and did I mention moisturized!?
Not many shampoos out there can moisturize my hair; as a matter of fact most shampoos leave my hair feeling dry and parched afterward. If I do not follow up with an expensive deep conditioner my hair will stay parched and thirsty. Moisture Milks though do the complete opposite.
Packaging:
Passion Fruit Smoothie comes in your standard VO5 shaped bottle. It looks like a tear drop. The bottle itself is transparent, and you are able to see the orange colored shampoo through the bottle. It had a click up cap, which is easy to use. The photo on the bottle is that of a passion fruit (which actually looks like an odd peach to me), that is being dipped into a puddle of...I guess milk? (It looks more like cream to me though).
Scent:
I have never eaten or smelled a passion fruit, so I have no idea if this is realistic or not to the actual fruit. Passion Fruit Smoothie though smells like fruit punch to me. It is subtle, and fresh smelling, and it is sure to please anyone who likes those fruity punch smells.
My Use:
Well first I wet my hair...duh...then I applied a handful of the shampoo to my hair. I worked up quite a delicious smelling lather, and immediately I could actually fell moisturization! I was not surprised though, all Moisture Milks feel pretty moisturizing.
After rinsing out my hair was in fact left moisturized, and I knew that after using conditioner my hair would feel like silk. Low and behold, I was correct.
Stepping out of the shower my hair was easy to brush, and I was left tangle free.
After my hair dried out it was left looking and feeling wonderful. My hair was shiny, I had barely no frizz, and I was able to run my hands through my hair. Running your hands through my hair type can be difficult most of the time.
The best thing about Alberto VO5's Passion Fruit Smoothie though was the fact that I had a fruit scent all throughout my hair. I could smell it as I moved around, and the scent lasted for the entire day.
Overall:
Passion Fruit Smoothie is a winner. It joins the high ranks of hair care products that I will use again and again.
Where to buy Passion Fruit Smoothie:
You can pick a bottle up of it at any local drug store or super store for around $2.00. It's well worth it, so don't pass it by. Check out the other scents available in the Moisture Milks collection while you are there.
