Will it Improve Damaged Hair? Review of Organix Moroccan Argan, Penetrating Oil

Over the past month I have been attempting to bring my damaged hair back to life. Some products really did me some wonders, but the results were short lived, and if I did not continue using the product the hair would revert back to this dry damaged, near rubbery unmanageable state. Horrid to say the least.

When I ran out of my last leave in treatment I decided to once again pick up something new to see if the results would be better. I came across Organix Moroccan Argan, Penetrating Oil for just under $7.00, and figured why not? I have used plenty of Moroccan Oils in my hair in the form of shampoos and balms, and it has been working well enough. However my Moroccan treatments were costing me $30.00 for small bottles of oil. I figured perhaps Organix would offer the same results for more than half the price I was paying.

Organix Moroccan Argan, Penetrating Oil comes in a light blue bottle to match up with the other Organix Moroccan Oil hair treatments, which include conditioner and shampoo, and treatments. The bottle is like a mini Organix bottle, and I did not like the application method which is the same as a shampoo bottle, or conditioner bottle.

You basically squeeze the bottle and out pours the oil. Too much oil comes rushing out of the bottle if you press to hard, and I think a pump applicator would have been best considering the fact that this treatment is an oil, and would have been less messy or wasteful with a pump applicator.

There is no scent associated with this oil, but it does leave you feeling like you just applied a glob of vegetable oil in your hair, as it has the same consistency. Rest assured though, it absorbs, so your hair is not left greasy of weighed down.

It states to apply it to damp hair, and style as you usually would.

Once I had a decent amount in my hair, I let it be and kept feeling my hair as it dried to see if anything different in texture was occurring.

Results:

As my hair dried, I noticed immediately that the hair was a lot softer and less brittle and dry to the touch. It seems to have added moisture, just enough to leave the hair silky.

My ends were still a little rough to the touch, but prior to using it, the ends of my hair were simply put....fried!

As far as shine goes, I really do not notices any changes. However it left the overall texture of my hair feeling a lot healthier than before, so I am happy about that. It also seemed to have really did a wonderful number on the ends of my hair, which were in the utmost worst condition.

All in all, I would recommend Organix Moroccan Argan, Penetrating Oil to anyone who has dry, brittle or damaged hair, especially at the ends. This oil seems to get the hair in shape rather quickly, which is a major plus.
