Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed Hair

I dye my hair a lot. I get bored and go through all sorts of odd extremes. I will have my hair blond one day, red the next. I get bored of red and I switch to black, only to go back to blond, then back to black.
As you can see, it's a bit ridiculous. I manage to take care of my hair after the process though; because as we all know dyeing your hair will, and does damage your hair. It will go from luscious locks, to dry frizzy knotty locks if you do not take care of your hair on an every other day basis.
Recently I dyed my hair black brown, and shortly after that color I went to pure black. After the double dyeing process my hair was left less than glorious. It was left dry and damaged. I followed up with many different deep conditioning masks, shampoos, and conditioners.
Recently though while digging through an enormous box of free goodies I came across a bottle of Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair.
The promise on the bottle stated that using the shampoo my results would be shiny, healthy hair, and that it would smooth out roughed up hair cuticles.
Appearance:
The bottle is a standard stand up bottle. The bottle itself is a transparent cloudy green, with an orange click up cap. The bottle has Loreal's labeling on it, with a description of what the product is.
You are able to see inside of the bottle at the shampoo, and when I first got a glimpse of it, it truly looked as if it were conditioner. However when I squeezed a bit of the shampoo up through the spout to get a better look at it, the color was actually a shiny silvery pearl. It was actually really pretty shampoo.
The Scent:
The scent was what grabbed my attention right after viewing the pretty color of the shampoo. Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair smelled just like Oaktree Iced Tea. I'm dead serious! It's got a light lemony scent to it, with a mix of green tea.
My Use:
After smelling the shampoo, I could not wait to get into the shower to put it to the test. At this point I didn't even care if the shampoo did nothing for me; so long as it left behind that summer iced tea scent, I would be happy. I love pretty scents, and Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair had a damn fine scent.
In the shower I applied half a handful to wet hair. The iced tea scent filled the room as I worked up a thick creamy lather.
After my lather was done, I then rinsed. I could feel just how moisturizing this shampoo was the moment I began rinsing out! Most shampoos when rinsed out leave a dried out squeaky clean feeling to my hair. Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair though left a moisturizing squeaky clean feeling to my hair.
I cannot compare the shampoo to conditioner though, although it does a pretty good job at trying to play the moisturizing role that my conditioner does.
I knew though that after conditioning my hair would be 5x's more moisturized than it would be if I had used a different shampoo.
Results:
Glorious locks of moisturized hair. No dry ends! I was able to brush trough my hair with ease after using Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair.
I let my hair air dry, and the results were extremely nice. I will say though that did get some frizz, but that is expected of my thick unruly hair type.
After straightening my hair though, it was left shiny, silky, and alive.
Overall:
Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair is an excellent product for those who have recently dyed their hair, and for those whom are looking for a cheap way to add moisture to their dry locks.
Pricing:
Loreal Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo for Dry, Chemically Processed hair comes to about $7.00 for a 12 ounce bottle.
