Review of Dirty Girl Bubble Bath

A few years ago I hated bubble baths. I thought of them as a dirty filthy way to soak in water. Something about the though of someone else's dead skin possibly floating in the water with me grossed me out.
As years went on though I learned to appreciate bubble baths. One of the first bubble baths I took in a long time occurred about a year ago when my boyfriends sister gave me a bottle of Dirty Girl Bubble Bath. The bottle came in a set with other bathing products. I used to never pay any mind to bathing products, but seeing how the set was cute, the labels were adorable... that I should at least give it a try.
Packaging:
Dirty Girl Bubble Bath comes in a flat liquor shaped bottle. The bottle itself is plastic and transparent. The gel inside is a greenish blue color. The labeling has a woman in a tub crudely drawn onto the sticker. She sits in the bubble bath with one leg up in the air and one leg down. Yep, it looks like she doesn't fit in the tub, shes just hanging out of it.
On top the words Dirty Girl are written in cursive. Below that are the words Lillie Fresh Fragrance.
The gel is rather runny, but seeing how it was my first dip into the bubble bath world, I didn't know that thicker bubble bath gels meant they were more moisturizing.
The bottle has a screw off cap, which I knew was a bad thing, because the gel was quite runny. I would have to be very careful tipping this bottle over the tub, because I could easily end up pouring in the whole bottle.
Scent:
The initial scent of Dirty Girl Bubble Bath is Lillie's. I was imagining it would smell like blueberry only because of the gel color, but when I unscrewed the cap it was clearly a very subtle yet detectable flower scent. I love Lillie's.
Results:
I poured in a decent amount of the gel, and most likely used way more than I needed. As soon as the gel hit the running water bubbles began to sprout up at the surface of the water. I wasn't too impressed, there were not tons of thick creamy cloudy bubbles, that I remember bathing in as a kid.
There were bubbles, don't get me wrong, but seriously it was nothing to brag about. It was a standard amount of bubbles.
In the tub I could smell the Lillie scent surrounding me. It was enjoyable, but it was not too long after that my bubbles began to pop in drone fulls. I was bubbless in less than 10 minutes, which was disappointing.
After getting out of the tub, I could smell the fresh Lillie flower seeping out of my pores. I smelt delish, good enough to pick and sniff.
Dirty Girl Bubble Bath did not do much for my skin though, I didn't feel any moisturization, or silkiness...it was just the same; only it smelled divine!
Recommendation:
Although Dirty Girl Bubble Bath does not last long in the bubble department, I enjoyed it because the scent lasted on my skin and was heavenly.
Availability:
I have no idea where his sister picked it up, but believe it or not I have seen Dirty Girl Bubble Bath for sale in my local Borders book store in the gift section. The price at the time was $8.99.
You can also pick it up online at www.amazon.com.
