Review of Miracle by Lancome, Eau De Parfum

I love nothing more than freebies; and when my boyfriends sister handed off a basket filled with half used beauty and body products I was excited to get home, dig in, and see what she had given to me.
Just taking glimpses into the basket, and I knew I had hit a gold mine. Boy, she should of sold this stuff on Ebay...but I didn't chime in and hand out free hints...I took the goods and ran (not literately).
In the basket I pulled out quite a few half empty bottles of Bath and Body Works products I already owned. Inside the basket though, wedged deep at the bottom I cam across a miniature bottle of perfume. I knew these small bottles all too well. I owned tons of them. They are little mini sampler bottles of designer perfume.
I was happy to add this one to my collection. A little pint sized tot called Miracle by Lancome. I had never smelled Miracle before, but I had seen it on perfume store display counters without even giving them second glances. The bottle was never appealing to me, and when I buy perfume, I buy them not only because they smell good, but because the bottle itself is something I would want to save after the perfume is gone (I'm a hoarder).
Miracle comes in a square shaped bottle, and there is really nothing pretty about it, and it reminds me of a perfume bottle that mens fragrances would come in.
The perfume itself is slightly pretty. It's a light transparent pink in color, and just looking at it, told me that it was either going to smell like some sort of flower, or it was going to smell like some sugary hard candy sucker.
The mini bottle holds .16 ounces of perfume, and does not come with a spray nozzle. In order to get the perfume out of this mini bottle you have to tip the bottle upside down on your finger tip, or on your wrist. It's annoying, but most mini bottles are made in the same manner.
Scent:
The second I popped the stopper top off of Miracle I was greeted with a strong fresh flowery scent. It reminded me of what wildflowers smell like after a storm. Fresh, fragrant, and alive. I liked it, and I'm not one to like floral smells. I usually go for musks when it comes to perfume, but I was actually digging Miracle. I didn't think I would. I mean my boyfriends sister gave it to me for free, I right away assumed it was crappy and that's why she was pawning it off.
It's really a summery scent in my opinion. I however would use it whenever I wanted.
Issue:
Of course something that smells this good has to have an issue. Miracle does not wear very long at all. I applied it to my temples, and couldn't smell it at all about an hour later. No one else around me detected it either. Usually when you wear perfume you no longer are aware that you have it on...but then someone compliments, and you realize the scent is still present.
I got not a single compliment, and knew that it was due to the fact that no one could smell a thing. I tried really hard to locate the scent on my skin and on my clothing, but could not detect it at all.
Now I knew why she gave it to me. It was pointless to wear. Why even bother putting perfume on if it's just going to wear off in 45 minutes?
Overall:
I love the scent of Miracle by Lancome, but the scent is not long lasting at all.
Recommendation:
Sorry, I can't recommend something that only lasts about an hour if you're lucky.
Pricing:
The mini bottle of Lancome can be found online for as low as $14.00 at Amazon.com.
