After purchasing John Frieda's Full Repair Deep Infusion, and being
happy with the results on my over processed hair, I figured I would get
better results if I picked up the John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends
Sheer Mist, to use alongside the Deep Infusion.
John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist is supposed to be used
on clean wet hair, and it is supposed to be used sparingly to avoid
weighing down or making hair greasy. This stuff will make your hair
greasy, however if you have very dry damaged hair like mine, there will
not be any weigh down, and the more oil in the hair the better.
For those with just slightly damaged hair, use it sparingly. For all
others with sever damaged hair, you do not have to worry about it
weighing your hair down, especially if it is very, very damaged.
I used John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist alone to see
how it worked without backup help from the Deep Infusion serum.
The first disappointment I found with John Frieda Full Repair Perfect
Ends Sheer Mist was that it did not spray out in a nice mist as
advertised. It was a cheap press down nozzle that squirt out the
formula, so I have no clue why this one is called a mist; either that, I
got a broken nozzle?
Does It Work?
Due to the high level of over damaged hair, I was not able to bring a
flat iron to my hair for 2 weeks. However after using John Frieda Full
Repair Perfect Ends Sheer Mist I was finally able to bring a flat iron
to my hair without the hair crinkling up in a deathly dry way.
My hair was still very dry, but it was remedied by adding some Biosilk oils.
However without the use of John Frieda Full Repair Perfect Ends Sheer
Mist in my hair, I do not think it would have even been possible to
bring a flat iron near my hair.
The scent of the mist is also non-existent, so there are no perfumes added that will dry out the hair which is another plus.
Overall:
I am in love with this line by John Frieda. I did not think such a low
priced brand would help my hair this quickly and drastically. I know
that my hair is not 100% back to being healthy and normal, but I see a
definite 40% difference, and I hope that with each use, the results will
just get better and better.
The only thing I wish was different was that the nozzle worked as a
mist, and not just squirts. I also would have liked a much larger
bottle.
