Over the past few months I have been coloring my hair every other week
in an attempt to lighten it up before the summer. While my hair is in
good condition, I noticed that the ends began to split, and I knew
before I even dared mess with another coloring session, that I had to
repair the splitting of the ends, otherwise my hair could really end up
looking dry, dull, and it would frizz more.
I am not a stranger to split ends, so I knew that if I didn't fix it
while it was occurring, that it could split even further up, really
making my hair look dry, lifeless, and of course damaged.
Initially when I went looking for a mend for my recent split ends, I
figured I would just buy some sort of masque, or deep conditioning
serum, seeing that there is very little option in the split end
department. Little did I know, one of my favorite hair care companies
(Nexxus) already had my needs in mind. I spotted Nexxus Pro Mend Leave
In Treatment Creme for under $10.00 and figured this would be the answer
to my splitting needs.
Basically you simply add it to your hair after you shower, an let the
formula doe its magic with binding split hair for softer results when
styling. Over time the splitting should mend itself back to the strand
leaving you with perfectly healthy hair.
My Use:
The scent initially was well liked. Nexxus Pro Mend Leave In Treatment
Creme has a pleasant fresh scent, with that near coconut creamy scent
that most Nexxus products contain. It leaves hair instantly feeling
softer and silkier, and it also makes brushing and styling the hair an
easier task.
Split ends were still noticed by me the first time using it, but 2
weeks into using it regularly I noticed my hairs overall structure and
appearance seems all the more healthier, and my split ends are no longer
noticeable. In fact I have a hard time even finding one.
Overall:
I like Nexxus Pro Mend Leave In Treatment Creme, a lot. Not only does
it help maintain healthy hair, but it also leaves behind that nice
coconut fresh scent that I enjoy. Healthy hair, great scent, and no more
split ends! This one did exactly as advertised, and it is worth every
scent.
I would actually recommend this one to those who don't have split
ends, as it is just a lovely leave in treatment as is, and if you are
looking for silkier softer hair, this one will definitely please you.
