Review of Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena

Bath & Body Works is probably by far one of my favorite stores to shop for all of my beauty and bathing products. They've got lotions, creams, body butters, sprays, washes, shampoos, conditioners, lip products, home fragrances and much more. Best of all though is that all of these products come in beautiful scents.
One of my all time favorites hands down goes to Coconut Lime Verbena. I have everything the line has to offer. The lotion, the creams, the shampoo, the conditioners, spray, and home fragrance wall flower. So I figured it would be a nice treat to add in my 2 cents about the products available from the Signature collection fragrance.
Starting with one of my personal favorites, Ultimate Silk Body Lotion. It comes in a 4.75 full ounce glass bottle, and will run you $17.50. The price is a bit deep, but the lotion you get is like no other. It gives your entire body a lovely fragrance of coconut and lime all day long, but what truly makes it a star that shines brighter than the rest is the way it leaves you skin, and the subtle shimmer and glow it leaves behind.
The lotion is a pearly white color, and rubs into your skin just as soft as liquid silk would. After applying it makes your entire body sparkle. Not that tacky glitter teen sparkle like most products. It gives your skin an invisible glow. There is no glitter in this bottle! It leaves your skin feeling as smooth and as soft as silk, it truly is a must have product. I rate this one 5 stars out of 5 stars.
The Coconut Lime Verbena shampoo and conditioner are best when used together. The scent left behind will last for an entire day or longer. It leaves your hair feeling completely moisturized, shiny, and replenished. This is one of my favorite shampoo and conditioners to use. Again, a 10 out of 10. The bottles sell for $7.50 but are usually always on sale for 2 for $10. Each bottle comes with 12 full ounces of shampoo and conditioner.
The plain bottle of body lotion sells for $9.50 and comes with 8 ounces of lotion. This lotion is one of my favorites, but it is a little more runny than the body cream. The scent lasts for a few hours, so it's always nice to run this one on your legs, hands and arms after a shower. However, I would honestly skip on this one unless it was on sale. The body cream works much better.
The Coconut Lime Verbena Body Cream sells for a dollar more. At $10.50 for an 8 ounce squeeze tube, it's well worth spending the extra buck. The cream is thick, yet not too thick as to where it leaves you feeling sticky. It does not leave any residue behind, and it absorbs into skin fast. The coconut lime scent will last for almost an entire day, and not only that it leaves your skin feeling soft.
Of course any fanatic of this scent has to have the scented body wash. This wash sells for $9.50 and comes in the same shaped bottle as the regular body lotion, however comes with 10 ounces of wash. I enjoy it a lot, and the lather is really bubbly. However it is not too moisturizing, and the scent does not last on your skin after drying up. I enjoy it in the shower, but I do wish that the scent stuck around. No big deal though, I have the lotions and sprays for that issue.
The Coconut Lime Verbena body splash is by far the biggest rip off in the bunch. It sells for $10.50 for a 8 ounce pump spray bottle. The smell is lovely when it first exits the bottle, but as soon as it dries on your skin, the scent vanishes. This definitely is not worth the $10.50 price tag, and honestly it's not even worth a buy at $3.00.
Instead of wasting money on the splash, I would recommend you buy the eau de toilette. It comes in a 1.7 ounce glass bottle, and smells divine. Best of all though, the scent will last and last if you spray it onto your clothing. It is honestly well worth the $18.50. Most perfumes will cost you $30 or more, so if you think $18.50 is high, just imagine what Dolce would charge you for the same exact scent.
Now that you are all decked out in this lovely fragrance, you don't have to stop with just you. You can also have your home smelling like this lovely scent. There are candles, fragrance oils, and wall flowers in the same scent.
I have yet to buy the candle simply because the price is a bit high for a 15 ounce candle. It will cost you $17.00, but as of now it is on sale for $15.00. However that sale price is still a bit too high for a candle. So I purchased the wallflowers instead. The wall flowers sell for $12.50. They plug into the wall and release the coconut lime scent throughout the room you place it. One issue though, it seems to die out in about a day or so. On day one the scent was strong, lively, and lovely. However the next time I plugged it in, the entire thing smelt weak, and I barely could even detect it. So, save your money when it comes to this product. Don't even buy it on sale.
There are many more products in the Coconut Lime Verbena scent that I have yet to try, simply because buying them all would land me bankrupt. But in case none of the products I mentioned tickle your fancy, you can also purchase body scrub, shimmer lotion, hand cream, bubble bath gel, creamy body wash, foaming hand soap, moisturizing hand soap, deep cleansing hand soap, hand gel, and moisturizing lotion.
WHERE?
You can buy all of these products at any local Bath & Body Works, or online at their site www.bathandbodyworks.com. Coconut Lime Verbena is honestly a scent you are going to love. Before you know it you will have a closet filled with this scent.
